A good printer/scanner/copier that requires Epson inks.

Excerpt: I bought this Epson Stylus SX200 printer, copier, and scanner when my previous photo printer stopped working. That had also been an Epson and it was an excellent printer so I decided to go with that brand again and an all-in-one model to save space. The Product --------------- The Epson Stylus SX200 allows you to scan, photocopy and print photos and documents in colour or black and white.
Excerpt: This is one of two Epson printers we have in our house. The reason I bought this one was because I needed a good quality printer which could also scan and photocopy... but I wanted one which was reasonable to buy ink for, as printers are quite cheap these days, the companies try to claw back money through ink sales. I was wandering through Tesco not looking for a printer when I noticed this one. It was £35 at the time which was a special offer.
A really good 3 in 1 printer that does exactly what you need.

Excerpt: I purchased this printer for £69 from Tesco when I was studying computing. I was very impressed with the look of it. It's attractive and looks more expensive than it was. This printer takes individual ink cartridges, which is good. The ink seems to last a reasonable length of time. A guide is provided but I would say it's relatively straightforward to use. As a computing student I used it a great deal.
Excerpt: I'll preface this review with the usual warning that I'm not particularly technical and this review is given purely from a user's perspective. I've included the technical specification at the end of the review for anyone who cares to read it. When my faithful little ten year old Canon bubble jet printer gave up the ghost about a year ago, and after several unsuccessful attempts to revive it, it became very clear I needed a replacement.
One of the best all in one printers (during daytime)

Excerpt: The Epson Stylus SX200 is a useful all in one inkjet printer which also features a scanner and digital camera printer facilities. A relatively modest priced option, the stylus is very efficent. Whilst the starting price, usually around £100, may seem high, the stylus is very cheap to run. You will probably save money with this printer compared to other cheaper ones because of the price of ink and the printer's efficency when using it. The prints turn out well too.
Good value for the occasional user, BUT no USB cable!!!

Summary: I bought this printer on this site for forty pounds (a special offer) on impulse - I reasoned that there are only a few times that I need to print anything, and to have the added options of being able to photocopy and scan made it seem almost too good to turn down. It's constructed of very light plastic which doesn't feel like it would survive any sort of impact, so I'm going to have to be really careful with it, and the child will have to stay away too.
Summary: VERY EASY TO INSTALL, QUICK EASY AND SIMPLE CARTRIDGE INSTALLATION. JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND FOLLOW THEM. B4 ATTACHING USB CABLE ***NOT SUPPLIED*** GOOD QUALITY PRINT BOTH FROM THE ATTACHED LAPTOP AND A SCANNED COPY. REASONABLE SPEED IN REGARD TO DOCUMENTS. I HAVE USED EPSON PRINTERS FOR YEARS MOSTLY DUE TO THE CHEAP AND WIDELY AVAILABLE COMPATIBLE CARTRIDGES.
Summary: Good cheap all in one bought this as i had separate scanner and the Epson 830u which served me well.Only criticism the machine takes its time going through the motions before it starts to print but once the paper starts to feed its fine. The SX200 came recommended from a friend who had recently bought one.
Summary: This printer replaced my previous Epson model, the CX3200, whose feed mechanism gave up the ghost after about 3 years. Disappointed with that especially as I'd just bought a whole load of cartridges! Hey ho, I guess thats the way with modern technology. However, it gave me the opportunity to purchase this new slim line model to replace my big, lumbering dinosaur!
