Definitely not going back to Epson in a hurry with their faulty printers and expensive cartridges.

Excerpt: BACKGROUND INFORMATION When I bought this printer I was a student and needed to print out my lecture notes daily, which included text and a few diagrams. I don't think I ever actually printed a picture with this printer in the short time that it was up and running. APPEARANCE I like the look of this product, although it was quite on the large size but what can you expect from an all in one printer?
Excerpt: If you had asked me to review the Epson Stylus SX200 when I first got it, I may well have agreed with some of the other reviewers who rant about what good value for money it is. However, after owning one for about a year, my opinion has changed somewhat. The scanning and copying are first rate, I don't have a bad thing to say about them and, for the first six months, I would have said the print quality is ok for the price (you have to use the Best Photo setting to...
Summary: This Epson replaces a Brother DPC 115C which died when the ink dried inside the printer heads. The Epson looks nice and is easy to connect with the PC. The disadvantages are as follows: the scanning surface is not horizontal so single pages slide before you close the cover. This is a fundamentally stupid design characteristic. The top of the machine is not horizontal either.
Summary: Having been a user of Epson printers and multifunction devices for many years I had noticed that they have been becoming less reliable and lasting less and less time before completely failing. With this in mind I wasn't going to buy an Epson this time but my previous MFD failed in the middle of a project and I needed to get something in a hurry and this seemed relatively cheap. The printer itself is OK - does exactly what it says on the box. Prints, scans, copies.
Summary: I bought the SX200 from Tesco a couple of weeks ago. Needless to say the supplier Epson ink cartridges lasted only a few tens of page (no photos). This is not unusual, as most people know, that only a small amount of ink is put in the cartridges supplied with new printers. I am not unpleased with the printer as a whole, but I also bought a set of Tesco replacement ink cartridges (T0711 - T0714) badged as E312 for the black and E352 for a colour set.
Summary: When our Canon S750 died after 5 years superb service, we expected great results from a new printer and an All-in-one allowed our ancient scanner (UMAX Astra 610S) to be retired too. Short of time, we chose an Epson SX200 from the local Tesco display (main factor was the use of separate inks - no need to replace all when one runs out). What a disappointment!
Summary: Ich benutze seit Jahren Epson Drucker.
