Epson Stylus SX200: All-In-One Convenience But Pricey Ink
17 October 2013
Summary: I bought this Epson Stylus SX200 printer, copier, and scanner when my previous photo printer stopped working. That had also been an Epson and it was an excellent printer so I decided to go with that brand again and an all-in-one model to save space. The Product --------------- The Epson Stylus SX200 allows you to scan, photocopy and print photos and documents in colour or black and white.
Pros: Saves space, convenient, good quality, multi-function.
Excerpt: "...inks. I initially purchased genuine Epson inks but found that even these did the same. I would have to run the head cleaning task (very easy to do as the Epson printer installs software on your computer so a little Wizard appears to guide you in your task). Also want to note that the inks do start to dry when not using an then you have to run the wizard to get them going again. The printer also doesn't work if one ink cartridge runs out. Did not live up to my expectations of an Epson printer
16 January 2012
Summary: I've always admired Epson printers and every inkjet printer I have ever bought has been an Epson. However, I was disappointed with this Epson SX200 which I paid about £60 for at the time. The first thing I was disappointed with is that when you add the paper into the paper feed, the paper hangs down at the top as there is no support to keep the paper upright.
Pros: Good quality printouts, Easy to use and install, Nice design
Cons: Uses up too much ink, Trouble when feeding the paper through
Summary: I've had this printer for about 2 years, and have no complaints. It prints well and reliably, it scans well, and the one-touch 'photocopy' function (scan and print) is so convenient, it saves lots of trips to the library photocopier. It does get through the ink quite fast, but since it will take cheap generic cartridges this isn't a big problem. My biggest complaint would be that it is quite big and heavy.
Pros: prints and scans well, robust and reliable, easy to use
Cons: it's big and heavy, gets through the ink quite fast
Summary: Introduction:- We have had our Epson Stylus SX200 printer for around 2 years it was a second hand purchase from E-bay based on having the experience of used my parents' printer of the same model for an extended period with good results and no problems. The Epson SX200 is advertised as an all in one given the fact that as well as being a printer it is also a photocopier, and scanner.

Epson Stylus SX200: Meet Harold, the heavy metal printer.
11 August 2011
Summary: This is one of two Epson printers we have in our house. The reason I bought this one was because I needed a good quality printer which could also scan and photocopy... but I wanted one which was reasonable to buy ink for, as printers are quite cheap these days, the companies try to claw back money through ink sales. I was wandering through Tesco not looking for a printer when I noticed this one. It was £35 at the time which was a special offer.
Summary: You may wish to consider the Epson Stylus SX200 if you are looking for a family all in one printer that gets the job done well. If you are looking for an all in one that is super quick however - you may want to consider other options. **Size and Appearance** HUUUUGE! In comparison to my jet colour printer. This printer is about 45cm by 34 cm. It's rather glam looking in shiny black (attracts dust all the time, so that's the downside).
Pros: A fair price for an all in one! Gets the job done!
Cons: Somewhat noisy and not the fastest of machines
Summary: I purchased this printer for £69 from Tesco when I was studying computing. I was very impressed with the look of it. It's attractive and looks more expensive than it was. This printer takes individual ink cartridges, which is good. The ink seems to last a reasonable length of time. A guide is provided but I would say it's relatively straightforward to use. As a computing student I used it a great deal.
Pros: Cost. Attractiveness
Cons: A bit noisy, Loading paper can be troublesome
Excerpt: "After using a previous epson printer quite alot for photo's and other documents it decided to stop working, i thought that with the good quality that you get with epson models this should be what i look to buy. i managed to gt this printer half price in a sale at asda. the printer itself is abit smaller then my previous model which means its easier to store. (using with a laptop so have to connect and store the printer whenever i need it). i always ...
