Summary: the epson sx 130 is an absolute pain. It never workes right, it is hard to install-and-print, it robs you of your money and it makes your life extremely difficult by forcing you to buy ink on sunday evenings (when every ink shop is closed) right before your deadline simply because it demands you have all 4 color cartridges with ink before it will print black !!! Can you imagine that?
Summary: HIS PRINTER IS REALLY TROUBLE MAKER.I HAD PRINTER LAST YEAR AND AFTER THAT I HAD A LOTS OF DIFFERENT KIND OF PROBLEM WITH IT.FIRST I GOT ORIGINAL INK-REPLACEMENT BUT PRINTER DID NOT ACCEPT IT AND I ASK FOR REPLACEMENT INK FROM SAME COMPANY AND FINALLY (I THOUGHT) GOT IT BUT AFTER A WEEK START DOING FUNNY THINK LIKE EVERY TIME I OPEN THE PRINTER DIFFERENT FAULT ACCRUED.
Summary: I will start by saying DO NOT buy this printer! All positive reviews are by people who have only had this printer a few days and havent found out how bad it is yet. I have had it for just over a year and have finally given up and thrown it away. It prints and scans ok, but it is specifically designed to eat ink to a ridiculous extent. It constantly cleans the print head wasting huge amounts of ink.
Summary: Having this in your home is like having a bratty kid who "loses" his pocket money and demands a top up. The ink economy is completely crooked. You see that it has separate ink cartridges and think "great, I only print with black ink, I'll just replace the black one every couple of weeks and I'm golden." Cute. No, buddy, you'll be replacing the magenta and cyan every time this little munchkin decides you haven't given Epson money in a while. Only print text? Me too.
Summary: I was given this new printer in January (it's now November) and I have never been able to print a page perfectly. At first I couldn't get it to feed paper, now I have random lines from every document I print missing. The Epson support isn't very helpful and I have read numerous reviews from other customers on the Epson website who have the same problems I have.
Usless Unless you only want it for one round of ink.

Summary: I bought this printer in January and found it to work nicely, good enough for my few printing needs. Writing printed quickly and pictures came out clear. All was good until eventually the ink that came with the printer ran out. I already had bought a pack of replacement ink (the same price as the printer!!) and was ready to go.
Summary: I bought this when it was reduced, thinking it would be a wise purchase as a university student looking for a reasonably cheap and reliable printer. It was great at first with a pretty quick printing time, although the ink did run out a bit quicker than I'd have liked (after about 30 pages). Wanting to save money I decided not to buy the official Epson ink cartridges and cheaper ones that were still compatible.
Summary: I always read other bad reviews of this printer and thought - it can't be that bad. I mean Epson is a reputable company and surely they wouldn't create and sell such a junk product. Unfortunately, I'm finding out the hard way. Ink cartridges are expensive and run out instantly. Contacted tech support about the issue and they couldn't care less. The printer is slow, unresponsive and full of ridiculous issues.
