Epson Stylus SX100: Old fashioned All-In-One for standard home use
8 January 2011
Summary: Both me and my husband have printer at work, so fore years we didn't really even think of buying our own printer, didn't have need for it. However, during one grocery shopping I found SX100 in Tesco for an absolute bargain - £24.90, and I just could't leave it there. Design: size as usual All-in-One, I don't think it can be called easy to store, but the trays can be folded and for ink printer it's ok.
Pros: good quality of printing and scanning, nice black design, great for home use, cheap to buy and run
Cons: a bit slow if you need to print/scan more pages
Summary: 35 quid at Tesco's for an all in one printer?? Can't be bad! What does it look like? ------------------------------- Big is the word here and if I had to choose a 2nd word I'd go for dull. The black (mega dust collecting) lid lifts to reveal the scanner bed and to the left of the lid you have the power button plus several other buttons allowing you to do one touch photocopying.
Summary: I really enjoy using this printer even if it has a couple of flaws. I'll begin with what are the flaws in my eyes. firstly the noise generated by this printer can be quite loud when readying for printing and not so much when actually printing. Perhaps this will quieten over time when using the printer and it gets a bit more wear. Although it is noisy it isn't bad enough to make me regret buying printer.
Pros: Good quality prints and scans, great value cartridges
easy to use, fantastic quality on both scanning and printing.
