Summary: The printer arrived earlier than expected, thank you. Unfortunately, there was no user manual with it and I had a lot of difficulty connecting it to my computer as I had to download the drivers, which I did purely by chance and by trying anything and everything to get it working. With no manual again, I had a lot of problems changing the ink, which I managed by trying anything and everything.
Summary: Well I got my printer today (just a cheap one to replace my super old one) and it works fine. I had to download a few extra drivers but it works fine. It does not print on card but is a master of paper. If it would print on heavier paper i would give it 5 stars.
Summary: Have had several printers and this one is the best by far. Easy to use, does what it says on the box. Ink cartridges not too bad cost wise, could be cheaper. (Take note Epson) Copies and scans printed very good. Good buy.
Can't lose at this price (and how to save on ink costs)

Summary: I must confess to be an Epson fan and this is one in a long line of Epsons that I have bought. The requirement for this device was one where good quality photos could be printed, every now and then, and low to medium home usage. It meets these goals admirably. However, I'm not going to give it five stars, only four, as I feel that one should be taken away for speed.
Summary: Bought 2 SX100's one for me and one for my daughter. She is very happy, uses it occasionally and as she ha just bought her own flat needed a cheap and cheerful printer. I bought mine to replace a Pixma 4000 which was superb, but finally gave up the ghost. The SX100 does what I need, it scans well and have used it with free OCR software and works accurately if interminably slowly.
easy to use, fantastic quality on both scanning and printing.

Excerpt: "...of paper and printers. The Epson Sylus sx100 has; * a decent printing speed, * very good quality on prints * easy to change the ink cartridges. *The scanner is accurate providing excellent photocopies. In my opinion this is a very good choice of printer for home use. I have put mine through a lot of use recently and the only problems i found are that the printer will jam if you put to much paper in much the same as other printers will, also that ...
Pros: easy to use, quick and reliable
Cons: Can take a minute or two to load from intial boot .
Summary: paid £30 for this, so it was certainly value for money. one thing to note though is it does not come with the lead that connects it to the computer! luckily i had a lead which fitted it that came with my external harddrive. otherwise i would have been very annoyed!
