My RX700 review
26 August 2006
Summary: I've had this printer since xmas 2005. all that time I've had no problems what so ever and really have enjoyed owning it. I would call my self a power user as I do everything with this printer, not just photos. It's the first all in one printer on the market to print cd's.
Summary: Today's date is Jun 7, 2006 but I will pretend I am writing this review in Jun 2007. If you read the reviews of any epson printer product made in the past 4 years you will know that they clog, so as I am writting this review in 2007 my once well rounded epson rx700 inks heads have clogged.
Summary: The printer arrived completely ruined. It was packed in a flimsy box in circa 35 lb. of finely shredded paper without any plastic bag or any other wrapping around the printer. Every compartment of the printer was full of shredded paper and tiny paper particles and dust.

Summary: Had it for less than 2 weeks[actually had a second replacement from epson in that time too] and it just would not print photos correctly. The color was off. Finally after 3 phone calls, all lasting over an hour each, 3 e mails, epson decided that even though the photos were printing fine on the...

Summary: I bought mine at Comp USA a few years back( it was first out) when I was using a Gateway PC and I do all my photos at home was in a hurry one day and did them at a Walmart, soon as a co-worker saw them he said " you did NOT print these did you?
Summary: This All- in- one product was bought to be my home office scanner and copier and was doing fine until it ran low on one color ink cartridge. Wow...this shut down the entire machine. I could no longer scan or do a BW copy...nothing!
Summary: It's probably a little after the fact writing this review, but they are still available both new and used. The reason I selected this printer was for the variety of features. I was a little disappointed to find out that some are not Mac compatible.
Very nice printer -- for a Windows-only environment.

Summary: First, the good. This printer has a lot of really nice features, like being able to print from 35mm film, being able to scan images to flash media, being able to print CD labels, dual paper trays, really high resolution and high quality photos, 6 individual ink cartridges (so you only replace the...
Summary: This is a fantastic printer for anyone that wants excellant quality photo prints up to 8 1/2 x 11. Yes, the ink is expensive, but the quality is amazing, and I have never had a problem with using non-Epson inks at 1/2 the cost.
