EPSON RX620 Printer
13 February 2011
Summary: Many great things about this printer. Easy to just do a copy, fairly nice quality, cartridges are cheap if you buy in bulk. (I get all cartridges for about $1.25 each.) At this price, I do not worry too much about it using a little bity more ink. But you can reduce it buy changing the quality of the printout. Now the downs,... The paper holder on the back is not too terribly strong and it broke. I used some glue to fix it but it will not hold up if I move it or bump it.
Summary: I bought this, as I had the X320 which uses the same ink cartridges. This printer is a total upgrade from the X320. It takes great quality copies and prints photos perfectly. The one advantage to this over the X320 is that this has a lift up top for scanning and taking copies of non-8x11 items. We're loving it in a small office, and the setup was quick and easy! Would buy it again!
Summary: does everything well - only comments: a bit big/heavy ; 6 ink cartridges are a bit too much but the photo colors are great. Decided to buy it for price($88) and Epson reputation (my 3rd Epson printer).
Summary: We bought this printer due to its capability of producing high quality prints of photos and graphics up to A4. It is also capable of making colour copies and scanning photos. The print quality is very good, and you can print out photos that are very crisp and almost lab quality. However, it is a very slow printer and is not exactly quiet either. The same can be said about the scanning and copying, especially on high quality settings.
Pros: High quality, takes 6 individual cartridges, all in 1
Excerpt: "I have had this printer for over a year now and it has served me well for my purposes. It has many features being an All-In-One printer, including; Print; Scan; Copy; Memory Card Reader; USB slot; LCD screen. The print quality is pretty good, great if all you need is for documents, and it can print onto photo paper well also. Scanning is very easy just by using Epson's standard software (supplied) and it can even be set up to 'read' the document ...
Pros: Very easy to use, All - In - One, Good Cartridge price
Cons: Not super fast printing, ink indicator too premature
Excerpt: "...to this I had another Epson Photo and this beats it in terms of quality and print time. As a scanner, it is not as simple as a normal scanner and feels less purposeful. The deck is more difficult to deal with than the normal thin scanner but does the job well regardless. As a copier, the lcd display comes into its own. Its comprehensive and responsive. The colour display is great and the layout of keys are easy to understand. Where the problems ...
Pros: Great photo printing, great scanning and great copying
Cons: expensive inks, can be wasteful of ink, poor customer service from Epson
Does exactly what it says on the tin! well, box...

Excerpt: "...alone, colour screen, Have to use Epson inks. After my old HP gave up the ghost I decided to upgrade to two printers, one multi-purpose and one larger photo printer. After having worked in graphic design I realised that as I looked around, every printer appeared to be an Epson. A possible reason for this is their brilliant picture quality. I read several online reviews and plumped for the RX620 it seemed to cover everything that I was after ...
Pros: All in one, great printer, scanner, card reader,
Excerpt: "The Epson Stylus Photo RX620 sits beside my iMac enthusiastically printing off the latest photo's of my son. As printers go its average in size, perhaps slightly bulky at 456 x 439 x 256mm, but considering that it is also a scanner/photocopier, its fairly compact. As I no longer work, my printers main function is purely printing of photo's hense, the reason why we purchased a photo printer and it performs its function with excellent results everytime. ...
