Summary: I cannot believe the problems some people are having with this printer, i use compatable ink to keep costs down, and fairly cheap photo paper, the results are frankly brilliant. The photocopier is good, and it prints onto discs as well. i do not reget buying this and would recommend it to anyone.
Summary: I bought this printer as my main photo printer. It produces some amazing prints and is more than adequate for my needs. The claria ink used is of photo lab quality and will last for many years as claimed by Epson. It's got the added bonus of a scanner which I have used more than I thought I would.
Summary: I am extremely pleased with my Epson Rx585 printer. It does exactly what it says "on the tin", and it is so easy to use, especially for a beginner. The C.D. printing option is excellent, and again is easy to use.
Summary: I wanted an all in one that printed photos and CD's as well, the Epson RX585 does that. The only criticism I have is the common one of expensive ink. Epson put a chip in their cartridges which tells the printer when the cartridge is empty.
Excerpt: I completely agree with the ink replacement trouble that is more than just a little annoying. In fact I was expecting to find the button to turn off any color that is empty or at least a way to only print in black.
Summary: I've had this All-in-One for the past year and am very pleased with the ease of use and quality of prints it produces.OK so genuine Epson ink is expensive, but it produces the best results and does not clog the nozzels like cheap compatibles either!
Summary: Now my last review on a printer was shocking. It wasn't much of a printer more of a burden on my very soul. When last year I started my final year at uni I felt I really had to replace the Epson Stylus Photo 830U I'd had for a mere year yet spent most of that time wanting to jump on it..
