Pros: Good looking and compact unit. The paper tray seems a bit flimsy but time will tell whether that becomes an issue. So far so good. I found it installed very easily on my Mac systems and fine on Windows 7 (but see below). I have managed to upgrad the firmware without any problems. I like the individual ink cartridges. I've used the fixed ethernet connection only so far for everything and very pleased with the connectivity.
Cons: For some reason installing from the DVD supplied on three of my Windows 7 PCs worked fine but took an age compared to the Macs. Anybody's guess what's going on but it was over 30 mins on W7 versus about 2 mins on the Macs. Just leave it to get on with things and come back later!
Summary: After 12 months this printer has started to give very poor quality colour print quality despite using quality paper and Espon (vry expensive) ink cartridges. The paper feed jams regularly. It is expensive, big, ugly and about to be thrown out of the window!! Caution buyers!
Ink issues - you'll use loads of ink when bubbles form

Summary: This printer started off great, but after doing some serious work on it, I now find it is a total pain. You see, the ink cartridges do not move with the print head so a ribbon of flexible silicone tubes feed the ink to the print head. Problem is, the printer tells you that the ink has run out, but this is too late and bubbles start to form in the tubes. This can only be cleared by doing a cleaning cycle which wastes loads of ink.
Summary: Had this printer just over a year now (to replace a very expensive Epson photo printer - 950 - which kept jamming when printing CD's) as it was the only one at a reasonable price that printed discs. I did not need the scanner function so this was a waste - no other printer did discs and paper. After fifteen months two of the colours have packed up and no longer print - the heads are blocked and will not clean - this is using the inks recommended by Amazon.
Summary: This is without doubt the worst printer I have ever owned. Normally a loyal Epson customer, I was surprised just how bad it is. The jets have clogged up and I am completely unable to unclog them. The wireless connection is absolutely rubbish despite a good connection etc and the scan to computer function is hopelessly unreliable. This product gets one star because it can actually print a page of text - whoopee! But I would not recommend it - a waste of money.
Summary: ordered thsi casue my 720 decided it wouldnt print any moe all likes and stuff and didnt amtter how may ti es it was cleasned it jsut gave up the idea of printing from email and pad and phoen was good as well as the facvt it was easy to set up and sort out i di have to spend some time doing a head clean and nossle check ( witch i thought they would fo done be for sending to test it ) but after a few goes it manage to print in basic i get the odd spaced line but in best...
Summary: a great printer well packaged that does so much more than there is space to explain about! Well worth the price, especially if you put a Continuous Ink Supplu Set to it-that will make the price of the pinter and itself back before you know it and no more buying over priced ink cartridges either ! Very good printing whether it is flyers, letters portraits or disk lables, and double sided printing to.
Summary: I bought this printer 14 months ago and have had problems with it due to 'under use". Because I do not use it everyday the ink heads clog very easily and require the heads to be cleaned. Now as this printer uses ink to clean the heads it ink usage was very high and then this month the message has appeared to say the ink pads are now full and require replacing and has shut down.
