Summary: Epson have a connectivity issue with the BT modem/ wifi, (and one other modem, can't remember the name sorry), and it most certainly applies to this product. The issue resolves around the channel of the router/ wifi, usually 1 or 11 as default - Epson finally admitted this needs to be at 5 or 6. However, despite changing this setting this printer still won't work as it should.
Summary: Had this printer for 1 year and 10 months and it has been a problem from early on. Here is a list of what I have experienced...... Often states paper jammed when it isn't. When scanning, it crops top and a side edge of scan, making the scan a different size from the item being scanned. Refuses to print .pdf files from the internet and sometimes from file.
Summary: Robustly built, quite big and heavy, multi-purpose device that does everything you will ever need. Typically expensive Epson ink but great print quality especially on 6 x 4 glossy paper. Display is great and the menu system day to understand. Interfaces well with both my PC and Mac computers. Biggest issue is that it attracts so much dust - so a regular clean is vital.
Summary: After 12 months this printer has started to give very poor quality colour print quality despite using quality paper and Espon (vry expensive) ink cartridges. The paper feed jams regularly. It is expensive, big, ugly and about to be thrown out of the window!! Caution buyers!
Summary: I bought this printer 14 months ago and have had problems with it due to 'under use". Because I do not use it everyday the ink heads clog very easily and require the heads to be cleaned. Now as this printer uses ink to clean the heads it ink usage was very high and then this month the message has appeared to say the ink pads are now full and require replacing and has shut down.
Summary: This printer has lasted less than 17 months. Just suddenly started to turn itself off before its finished starting up. So only lasted a few months after guarantees out. It has only been used in a home environment.
Summary: The printer is still within its warranty period so at least I have not wasted the printer cost. However, I have wasted a lot of time which was spent on trying to make it work, the hassle of needing to send it back and I'm out of pocket on tens of pounds spent on print cartridges. Approx. 6 months in and it needs constant and repeated ink-head cleaning and nozzle checks. And before anyone asks - yes, I only ever used Epson ink cartridges (at vast expense!).
Summary: I hope the title doesn't sound too harsh. Although I find the printer is very good it only produces good results for photos when Epson papers are used. I have a stockpile of good quality photo paper (Kodak and Canon) from when I used to print a lot of photos. Unfortunately the results on this paper are extrememely poor, unuseable in fact. I was on the verge of returning the printer until a friend gave me a few sheets of Epson paper to try.
