Summary: I have had to think long and hard about this review due to the balance between pro's and con's. The pro's first, this printer is a heavy bit of kit and feels like a well made printer it's fairly quiet when printing and does not cause my whole desk to start vibrating and rattling when printing.
Ive been a big fan of Epson printers, just bought Epson 720 WD

Excerpt: "...read the spec of the Epson Stylus Photo PX720WD I was very impressed, so much so I bought one as well! I have used an Epson Stylus R265 for years, so much so I have bought replacements refurbished off EBay, as I think they are now discontinued. Great printer. Guess what? The Epson Stylus PX720WD uses the SAME cartridges!!, so no change there and I can buy the compatibles, so both cheap to run. Now, the functionality of both machines is great, but ...
Pros: Functionality and print quality is exceptional . Price is well worth the money
Summary: I had been comparing all in ones and this was my first choice. I was going to get it as a Christmas present until while doing further research I found that Amazon had one listed at £48.99p. I double checked and yes it was a new one so did not hesitate further and grabbed it. I selected free post and it came in two days, bargain of the year, pays to keep looking at prices.
Summary: I had to replace my Epson R200 as no drivers for W7. I chose the PX720WD as I wanted a photo printer and I wanted wireless. Wireless is brilliant if you have multiple laptops (as I do). The duplex printing is also a nice function. In typical Epson style the printer tray is flimsy although I haven't had any issues. It has some strange features especially the ability to print outlines of your photos to colour in!
Summary: I bought this printer after looking at most if not all the alternatives. I needed a printer that would give me very good quality A4 photographs, and whilst I have not used it too much to date, my initial results are excellent. Scans are prety faithfull as well. I feel that the Amazon price for this machine was unequalled but maybe the big downside is that you have to offset the high ink costs for the machine against purchase price.
Summary: This is a fantastic product for the price. Print quality is superb, especially photos, and the ability to to store different size papers on board is a great time saver. Also not having the paper stored on view vertically makes for a tidier work station!! The auto double sided function is a bonus. A minor point of caution - this is deeper than the previous HP I owned, so just make sure you have the room for it. But all in all a brilliant home all in one.
Summary: Bought this printer about a year ago and overall it printed perfect prints no problem the wireless function was also faultless I had no complaints and would even have given this printer a 5 star review, however that was then and this is now. What Epson fail to tell is that if you use the head cleaning function once too often little message pops up telling you that the printers ink pads are at the end of there service life and that you should contact Epson support the...
Summary: Good printer. I have XP and the set up was easy. Install the supplied software and set up wifi by typing your router info into the printer screen. Touch controls are very good and the display is easy to work with. Quality of prints are very good but not stunning. Mine prints a little light. The printing speed is excellent (my previous printer was the R200). Good printer, good buy and best of all cartridges are cheap if you know where to look.
