Epson Stylus Photo PX650: Great all round printer Epson PX650
1 week ago
Summary: This is a printer i've owned for a couple of years now which i initially bought as it seemed like a decent price for an all in one printer. In particular though, there was a great added feature which was the ability to print artwork directly onto blank cd/dvd discs which was great as i had a load of discs laying about with no names on them, so this feature would come in really handy and also make the disc look much more visually appealing too.
Pros: Good colour range, Independent control from lcd screen, ports for SD cards and a pen drive
Cons: Larger than some other home printers, six inks means a bit costly for a new set
Summary: I bought this machine as a result of the recomendations I have seen on photography websites and tech blogs. Throughout all of them, the phrase repeated was that this machine was the hi definition, all in one printer for the photo enthusiast. Epson's reputation comes from many years of experience in this market, and is ranked as one of the world's largest manufacturers of printers and information & image related equipment.
Pros: Quality, speed and convenience all in one package
Epson Stylus Photo PX650: Epson - great make - great little machine
16 June 2010
Summary: I bought this printer about 6 weeks ago. Mainly the manufacturer's reviews and a few pc magazines mentioned this and I was happy to go with them, I also got quite a good deal. I have had a few Epson printers before so I didn't look at any other manufacturer's models either. Bit bias but I stick with what I know. Looking at the machine, it's very pleasing to the eye. It wouldn't look out of place in a swanky office. Now down to the nitty gritty.
Pros: Photo printing, dvd printing, seperate cartridges
