Summary: This is worth more than its price in gold, saving so much money compared to ink catridges it is silly, and to refill the ink bottles is simple and very easy! Anybody who does a lot of printing woulkd benefit immensley from switching to this, instead of cartridges!
Summary: I use the P50 mainly for letters (nice crisp black text), and the occasional framed print for our home. Used with genuine Epson inks and Epson paper ... you can't go wrong really ! Have only been using it for a few months so cannot really go into details about reliability etc of this particular model.
Summary: I use the printer to to print my favourite photos for framing etc and have been happy with the quality. As I have only been using it for a couple of months I am unable to comment on it's durability, however the last two Epson printers I had lasted a number of years.
Pros: Easy Setup, Easy To Use, Good Quality Photos, Reliable
Summary: When I bought the P50 about a year ago I wondered if it would produce better images then the Epson Photo 950 it replaced, I was not disappointed, although the construction of the unit is plastic looking compared to the former it still turns out the goods. The printer setup was easy as is its use, I use the extra capacity Ink cartridges (T079X) as I find these the most economical when producing a fair amount of Prints and documentation & I never use...
Summary: I primarily bought this printer to print things such as contact sheets and test shots for my university critique sessions however have found it even more useful. (studying BA (hons) Photography)The print quality of this printer is impeccable, I cant actually see close enough to the page to stop seeing more detail, especially when printing an 18mp image onto A4.
Pros: Borderles prints, Easy Setup, Easy To Use, Isn't an eye sore, Photo quality
