Summary: Do not buy an Epson printer/scanner. They guzzle ink, the cartridges dry up if not used on a very regular basis and after very limited use the printer fails to recognise even genuine Epson cartridges. Results in endless amount of time trying to get the printer to recognise the ink cartridges, money wasted buying new cartridges the printer still fails to recognise, scanner will not work as you can not access the menu or get passed the initial ink error messages and bucket...
Summary: I love things which, touch wood, don't let me down. This machine is easy and intuitive to operate and produces really sharp prints. I can't really say this for photos as I haven't really tested it, using it mostly for documents. I particularly like the facility to scan documents or pictures straight onto a memory stick or SD card.
Summary: Having done loads of research I decided to buy this printer. Although some of the other reviews said it was hard to set up, I did not, apart from it taking quite a while, but that probably was just me taking things slow. It is set up now does what it says on the box. it is quite loud but as it is upstairs and I generally print from my laptop in the lounge it is not a problem. So far this is an excellent all round wifi printer.
Summary: After reading positive reviews for this product I thought I would go for the BX600FW, figuring a more expensive spec printer might be reliable for the documents and photographs I produce every day. With the price reduction it all looked promising. How wrong I was. This has been the most dreadful printer I have ever come across. Initially printing photographs required nine attempts before I could print more than one centimetre of the picture.
Summary: The Epson Stylus BX600FW is a super printer and copier. I have not to date used the fax and scan Facilites. I would recomend it if the price is around £100. Not only am I pleased with the build quality of the product, it makes geat standard and photographic print even with the cheap inks currently on the market. I hope this review is helpful.
Summary: THE INITIAL PRINTER DELIVERED ONLY WORKED ONCE, VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH EPSON. THE EXCELLENT SERVICE PROVIDED BT AMAZON AND MRW WE HAD A SECOND PRINTER DELIVERED AND YES IT WORKS. SO IN REAL TERMS ONE WONDERS ABOUT THE QUALITY CONTROL OF EPSON. OK IT HAS TRAVELLED HALF WAY ROUND THE WORLD BEFORE WE AQUIRED IT. THE PRINTER IS VERY PAST, PRINTS VERY GOOD A LITTLE NOISY AT THE START OF EACH PRINT ACTION.
Summary: on the positive reviews for this printer, I purchased one and I am not disapointed. It did not take long to set it up and as I had some jobs for it to do within an hour I had used the printer for my sons homework, 18 pages in no time, I scanned a colour document and it printed the copy nearly as good as the original, and then sent a six page document by fax, all with no effort. For the cost, heavily discounted of course, I would find it hard to beat.
Summary: Epson Stylus BX600FW Colour A4 All-in-One Printer, Copy, Fax, Scan 5760x1440dpi 27ppm (Mono) 19ppm (Colour) - 120 Sheets When I first wrote this review - see below, I had not used the printer for long and the review set out my first thoughts. My experience has caused me to downgrade the printer to 3 stars only.
