Summary: after I bought the printer I discovered that my mobile phone can print photos with downloaded apps and software but not this model and would i have this information prior to purchasing this printer which is a fantastic printer I would have bought the next model up which is the workforce series and not this one
Summary: Without a doubt this printer is an ink guzzler! It will not print easily on anything other than A4 paper, including card or vellum , I have found it quite frustrating. Do NOT try compatible ink, it will mess up the printer and be a big waste of time and cash.
Summary: It is a practical and as good as described, but it is really noisy and not recommended to be used at home if you have sleeping children! I tried to use non OEM inks. Unfortunately, it was not functioning very well especially when trying to print photos. Text is pretty nice but you will need to clean nozzles regularly. Other features are JUST GREAT! Wireless gives a pretty flexibility in place and wiring optimization. Good value for money!
Summary: I can't fault the printer, the scanner is excellent and the print quality is good as is the build quality; it does everything it should at a very good price. Although in truth it's a little bit too big for home use, but I guess it's not pretending to be with 'Office' in the name. What I didn't like was the manual, i found it awful, not intuitive at all, especially the wi-fi setup.
Excerpt: "I have been using this product for a while now, a couple of times a week for personal use. This means that I generally don't print all too many pages a week. I would recommend this product for anyone who is like me, and doesn't require their printer too much, since the ink is not very cheap compared to some others, but very good in quality. Therefore, it does not seem very appropriate for business use or homes in which you print a lot on a daily basis. ...
Summary: Just bought this product to replace my old Photo RX 560. Printing photographs is a secondary use for me, but according to the technical details shown by Amazon, a 10 x 15cm photograph takes "approx 54 seconds" which was just about OK for my putpose. BUT BEWARE. Do not buy this product if this kind of print time is what you are expecting. It takes 4 minutes, yes FOUR MINUTES to print a 10 x 15 photo.
Summary: Printer is slow, quality when set on economy could be better. Have to make most decisions through PC, i.e., cannot resume two sided printing at printer when you turn over pages, have to go back to PC to resume - bit if a pain. I had a Lexmark wireless, only got this printer due to the price of lexmark inks and the fact that the inks could not be refilled. Ink for this printer are cheap and cartridges are refillable. Quite noisy.
Summary: My old Canon pixma gave up the ghost after 5 yrs so I decided to get an all in one printer and get rid of the very old scanner to make more space. That makes sense and these printers are very cheap and Epson seems cheap to run re the ink. On the face of it this printer looks great, all singing and dancing and will be just fine for most people however...
Summary: I managed to set up my laptop to print wirelessly to this printer remarkably easily, but am surprised to find that I can't use it to print from my new IPad because the printer is not ''airpush enabled". So far I haven't been able to find a fix or workaround, so if anybody knows of one can they please let me ( and potential purchasers) know. Until then, I would advise all IPad users not to purchase this printer.
