Worst printer EVER !!!
11 April 2013
Summary: Please be warned do not buy this printer !! it will jam your paperwork, the head will need cleaning every 8-10 pages, if you want to print photos it is even worse. I had to give this 1 star because that is the minimum - even 1 star is being kind to this printer !! as you can tell I am very unhappy with the product, 5 months old an already "repaired" twice, and still does not work.
Summary: I bought this item based on very positive reviews and was impressed at how cheap it was, for what appeared to be a good, modern colour printer, which has WIFI. In the few months that I have had this, it has been out of action most of the time for one reason or another. I have had to change most of the cartridges at least once in six months- on extremely rare usage, and each time a colour cartridge goes, the printer refuses to operate- so you cannot print even if you only...
Summary: I bought this printer a couple of months ago and it was all good. Recently after the october firmware update it does not a anymore recognize it's own brand cartridges. Now I can only use it as a scanner and a fax !!! Also it's airprint functionally is only through an app and not real airprint. I strongly do not recommend this printer. Greedy Epson to sell cartridges has disabled its printer's functionality to zero and even lied about airprint functionality. Shame.
Summary: The "office" printer. I pray to God that I never work in a office where this is the printer or photo copier or whatever. I bought this because as we all know printers have a limited working life decided by the manufacturers and I hoped this one would be different. After a week it ran out of ink, now I printed off at max about 20 pages, this is my home printer, I do not and have never worked in a office.
Summary: This printer only lasted 3 months before breaking beyond repair. It kept giving error messages saying low ink when cartridges where full and brand new. Then started showing various error messages. When conducting search it turns out this is very common with these printers. The biggest waste of money I have ever made. DO NOT buy this printer it is the equivalent of setting fire to your money!! Just bought new HP printer so much better, build quality and operation.

Summary: One thing often overlooked when buying a printer is the cost of keeping the thing going once purchased. Research is done, reviews are read, and naturally the focus is on the quality of print, functions, reliability, etc. Often questions like "how long will my ink last and how much will it cost to replace it ?" are forgotten.
Summary: Having used HP printers in my home studio-office for the last ten years without a hitch, I opted to try an Epson when my last HP suddenly broke down after two years for no conceivable reason. Reviews on Amazon seemed generally good, and I thought I would give it a go - for light home use, how wrong can you go, I wondered. The BX305FW was simple enough to install, but good lord, the trouble I've had with it since then....
Summary: I was excited to use this all-in-one machine, but I have been left disapointed. ADF jams more often than not; after a paper jam the (USB in my case) connection is lost - the only solution to which I can find is a PC reboot!!!! As another reviewer reports - it shows cartridges empty very soon after changing them. I find the menu options annoying - for reasons I do not understand I have to "press 1 to save" to shut it down from hardware - what it is saving I have no idea!
