Summary: I recently purchased the EPSON Stylus NX625 through Amazon.com. The product arrived as stated [excellant packaging!] Everything was in the box and it installed so easily, about 45 minutes to setup and play. It was so easy setup and configure that I started to think that I was charmed. Anyway... I set it up for wireless operation on (3) lap tops [PC's]. I don't expect any issues when I latter install the software and configure a MAC laptop.
Summary: I just set this up yesterday, so I'll add to review later if there are any durability problems. TIP REGARDING SETUP if you want to use the printer with wi-fi. You have a choice of temporarily using a USB cable during setup and then removing it, or using wi-fi and stand at the machine and press buttons. I chose the temp cable option since I already had one on my broken HP non-wifi printer. Some people just move forward without reading instructions. (I do that a lot also.
Summary: First I have to admit I bought this at a local store b/c it was the same price as amazon and I needed it asap. But I feel compelled to write this because this machine so far is awesome! I did some research and it appears that most machines had some issues but this one had the least. Well for the price, I got all I wanted: wireless, duplex printing, scanning and copying. I just hooked it up yesterday and it was really easy.
Summary: Excellent, no problems, fast and very sharp images. Like under paper feed, takes up much less room. Works just fine with the most inexpensive copy paper. Very fast shipping and in new factory packaging. But, same price as staples. But, saved me tax and a trip to staples.
Summary: I am loving this printer! It was super easy to set up through my wireless network. It prints pretty fast, and the print/copy quality is really good. The scanner function works well, too. Overall it's pretty idiot-proof, which is ideal for someone technologically challenged (like me!
Summary: I've installed a lot of printers, so thought I'd try something different - one of my friends is what you'd call a "typical computer user" - so I took the printer over to his house and said "here, install this." That was the limit of my help. Counting the time it took to pull the printer out of the box, the first page was out of the printer in about 7 minutes. It was literally that easy.
Summary: I hate printers. There, I said it. There's a lot you can find out about your new printer in an hour or two, but a key factor is how well it holds up over time. Will the scanner/copier cover hinge break? Will the paper tray self-destruct? Will the ink bays hold up? Will all the buttons/functions last? Also, how much ink will it suck and how expensive will it be?
Summary: I needed to buy new ink cartridges for my Epson Stylus CX6000 printer. The CX6000 is a disgusting ink hog, but it does a decent job. When I logged into Amazon to search for the appropriate cartridges, I happened to notice that the Epson NX625 was the Deal of the Day, priced at fifty-nine dollars. I also noticed that it was highly rated by a good number of reviewers.
Summary: This printer is great and, for the price, I feel like I am ripping Amazon off. From the moment I removed it from the box, it took about 15 minutes to have this printer up and running. I have a macbook and had no issues setting up wireless printing. I purchased this printer yesterday for $99.27 and by this afternoon (less than 24hrs) the price dropped to $59.99! I called up Amazon in order to address this issue and they credited my charge card the difference - no hassle.
