Summary: The functionality is fine....it's the cost of the printer cartridges that do not last any time at all. And if one of the cartridges runs low, the printer will not print at all even if you're not using that color...and there are 4 cartridges. There is no warning about a low cartridge so when it stops you're stuck.....until you can go buy more of the expensive things. Stay away..a low price on the printer means nothing.
Summary: Based on the Amazon reviews, I ordered this printer...and I have been so disappointed. First, it is a very noisy printer. (I use Brothers elsewhere in the house and that's my comparison.) Second, I was never able to install it wirelessly. Finally, it jams constantly. Just now, I'm on the phone with Epson service. Have been cleaning heads for what must be 30 minutes...we keep cleaning heads and I'm told we need to do this process six times.
Summary: Okay, I want to make a couple of points for anyone considering buying this printer. The printer works about as well as you could expect for the price, though it constantly runs out of ink with only moderate use, even the so-called high capacity black ink cartridge - by the way, in the printer utility, you can check an option that will allow you to continue printing in black when one of the colors runs out.
Summary: I had a Canon Pixma (that my children beat on and took apart and pushed all the buttons at the same time)for about 5 years and it worked great. I've had this one for just over a year and it won't recognize ANY printer cartridges!!!
Summary: We've had this printer for over a year, and this thing decides when it wants to work. As of right now, we have no been able to use the wireless print function for over a month. I have a Macbook and my boyfriend's laptop operates on Windows. I wish I could say this is an uncommon event, but this happens regularly where we cannot print anything. This is exceptionally upsetting since we are both students and rely on it to complete our coursework.
Summary: This printer is a huge disappointment. I've had numerous Epson products over the last 20 years and this is a real low point. The quality is very poor and the promised performance is a myth. The printer is almost totally made of plastic. It is flimsy and lacks s feel of substance. It comes out of the box pretty much ready for set-up, a few packing pieces to remove and a few tape pieces to remove.
Great printer but I wish the manual offered more info on all of the features.

Summary: I recently upgraded to Mac OS Snow Leopard 10.6.4 which is fine. It's a great system except for one thing: My Epson Stylus CX8400 printer no longer worked. The driver CD was literally incompatible with my computer. I thought I had fixed the problem through a long and circuitous path filled with Epson support pages, uninstallations, and still more installations. But lo, I still could not print from my newly upgraded computer.
Summary: I'm blown away, this printer works great. We got it recently and hooked it up in less than 30 minutes. The printer found our secured wireless network (Mac airport express) and connected really easy, the set up on my second laptop was even faster, no wifi passwords needed. I like the option of customizing your set up and avoid all the bloatware that comes with the drivers, when installing the CD make sure you opt out of the extra software most people don't need anyways,...
Summary: I have owned many printers in my time, my first one being an Epson about 15 years ago. I am not sure why I strayed away from Epson printers as the one I had was a trooper but somehow I forgot about them. Well I got the chance to try out the Epson NX625 printer and I am in love! It is an awesome all-in-one printer! It prints, scans, copies, and even has a 2.5-inch LCD screen to edit and print photos!
