Summary: Nice item! Would really recommend for the navies computer person. It isn't fast but has good quality and many features to choose from. Purchased for Epson background, cost/value and quality of print.
Cannot buy a better printer/scanner/copier for the money.

Summary: I bought my NX 430 last October for my home computer. I have used it moderately since, for printing letters, resumes, coupons, etc, (gone through 400 pages so far) in the gray-scale setting so as not to use the color cartridges, and although I did get a message recently that said the black is getting low, it is still printing perfectly. And that is on the standard size cartridge that came with it.
Great little printer for printing documents, not so much with pictures.

Summary: Good for price. Prints documents quickly but slow on pictures. Super easy to set up. Doesn't come with USB cord but I didn't even need one to set it up to our wifi network. Very easy to use with your iPad or other apple product. No apps to download. It takes about a minute and a half to scan documents. Overall I'm please with this purchase.
Summary: Nice looking, compact printer, makes clean, crisp copies. Attention Mac Lion Users: Before you add the Epson printer to your Print and Scan preferences, delete any existing printer(s) you've previously installed, otherwise the Epson won't install.
Summary: Overall, the Epson NX430 is a solid all-in-one printer. At a retail price of $99, it may not be worth it but if you can catch a sale like I did and get it for $49 it is well worth the price. Appearance wise the finish is a black that is glossy, but has some texture to it so it doesn't get all marked up with fingerprints too bad. The front has a fold up LCD screen with several virtual buttons that looks like something you would find a more pricy unit.
Summary: This wireless printer is very good for a home network. It arrived in a timely fashion and was very easy to set up. Especially once it came to set up on the existing wireless network, the directions were very clear, and it really did it itself. I always dread this type of setup because I fear the component won't recognize the network, or the network won't recognize it, or the peripherals won't work with it. But this worked very well, easily detecting the network itself.
Solved unique problem and need for 12vdc mobile printer

Summary: WARNING: I learned over many months of use that this printer has design problems. For example, a full color 8x10 print on the best photo setting takes 25-30 minutes to print. I am not exaggerating. I can only use it if I am busy doing something else and time doesn't matter. The next best photo image setting is 10-15 minutes for one print.
