Summary: I made the mistake of buying this printer on sale. I now realize why it was on sale so cheap. Every time you print, you have to clean the print nozzles. This consumes lots of ink. Cardstock won't print and even plain sheets jam. Never again will I purchase Epson.
Summary: I'd like to give this zero stars but it won't allow that. I'm trying to print out black & white images (no color). I have a completely full black cartridge but because the magenta cartridge is empty, it's holding me hostage and won't allow me to print anything whatsoever. When I select "print," a screen appears which takes me to their web site to conveniently buy their rip-off magenta cartridge, which I don't even need right now.
Summary: This is the first printer I've ever bought for myself. Do not buy it! If you get it for free make sure it has all 4 ink cartridges or else it will be useless and it locks itself so it does not do anything until you replace a cartridge. It will not scan or print or anything. Even if you try and scan from the computer connected by usb it will give the error "Scanner is not ready Interface not connected." This is the worst buy I've ever made on used things.
Summary: My last printer was also an Epson but it went the way of all flesh. Not the seller's fault, but this model is a bummer ... agonizing noises as paper literally shoots through it and I really do not trust it. I'm glad the price was right!!
Summary: Not sure if this printer is still available, but I would not recommend it. For that matter it has made me suspicious of any low end epson printers. the pros: high res printing got it for free cause someone else hated it that much the cons: If one ink cartridge goes down the printer wont function at all. Not even to scan. The cartridges become unrecognized even when they are still 25% full. The ink only lasts a few photo quality pages (about 10 in my experience).
Owned for almost 4 years and regretted every single one

Summary: This printer is junk. First off, the amount of ink it uses is just pure ridiculous. I put in a new ink cartridge in (Cyan) and within 6 weeks, the printer was coming up with a low Cyan alarm with moderate printing on black and white only. Second, the stupid printer cannot print black and white pages without having all of the color inks installed and at almost full capacity. This printer is so dang thirsty that it goes through ink like there was no tomorrow.
Summary: We know that printers sell for cheap, and then sell ink for silly prices. It seems that Epson has perfected this to an art form. The ink runs out super fast, and the issues that arise from replacing cartridges are so numerous. Full cartridges show as empty, forget about printing only in black and white, not possible, and the printer locks down and will not do anything unless you spend a lot of money to replace workable cartridges.
Summary: This is the best printer for the money because you can find ink for really cheap. Especially on ebay they sell in bulk for less than 30 dollars! Its an all in one machine that prints amazing photos. I replaced a lexmark with this Epson and I love it so much more.
Excerpt: I purchased the Epson Stylus NX415 All-In-One printer from a Tucson Best Buy about six months ago. I purchased the Epson printer under warranty, so I paid nothing except $15 for a new warranty, but I believe the retail was around $80-$90.
