Good buy for the money

basilg47, Ebay
25 March 2014
  • Summary: needed a second printer to replace one that finally bit the dust. Don't use heavily but saw this one and it fit what I was Looking For. I have used several Epson's over the last 4 or 5 years with good results.

Good Printer

Gerald Voigt "gervoi", Amazon
21 September 2013
  • Summary: The quality of the prints are really good and it was easy to install along with the scanner. I have had it several years now and the scanner is getting sketchy but even though the warrantee is expired Epson will still give you free trouble shooting. Having the 4 separate ink cartridges has it's pro's and con's but altogether I would recommend this product.

Do NOT buy this printer

A fan of books, Amazon
12 May 2013
  • Summary: The biggest money pit printer out there. I've had this printer for about two years, and have easily spent over $300 on ink (student use). A cartridge will last two weeks if you're lucky, and good luck refilling it with anything but Epson's overpriced ink! Today I was halfway through printing an image with a brand new black cartridge and it gave me an error message. The solution? Replace the black ink that was less than half a page old. No way.

Worst Printer I've Ever Owned

A. C. "Kaze No Kokoro", Amazon
30 January 2013
  • Summary: This printer is terrible, for many reasons. For starters, if you buy your ink in the store it's the most expensive ink on the shelves (minus laser printer stuff). It gauges you for ink too - ie. if you're out of one color (say blue) then you can't print anymore until you replace it, can't even print in black and white! It's ridiculous. It even detects whether you actually put in new ink or just removed the cartridge and put it back in.

All-In-One Printer Not good!

laurahammiller, Viewpoints
5 November 2012
  • Excerpt: This printer is horrible and not worth the money I bought this 3 months ago and have had nothing but problems with the printer, it either jams, says there is no paper, just stopped printing anything on the paper and is just a poor product.

Epson printer workings

J. C. Clarke "ArmyBrat66", Amazon
18 September 2012
  • Summary: The Epson Stylus NX215 All-in-One printer was easy to install and copied as advertised. One problem is when I tried to print something off my computer. It flashed a message "The wrong volume is in the drive." Have not been able to find out what that means or how to fix it and cannot print off my computer till I do.

Beautiful all in one printer

  • Excerpt: The epson stylus nx215 is a really nice all in one printer.  I replaced an aging canon all in one with this one. First off, its a great looking printer.  Its all black not too big, and has really easy to read buttons.  It can scan, copy, and print (no fax).  I have used all the features and it really does work well.  The scan quality is very good, copies are very fast, and I've had no problems printing anything.

expensive ink to refill it with

erinamber22, Viewpoints
9 September 2012
  • Excerpt: We were in need of a new printer. In July when they are putting things out in the front of the store and on sale for college bound kids we noticed this printer for $30 at Target. We needed a new printer and quite impulsively we bought it because it seemed like a great deal and we love having the scanning option. We didn't really look into it first. Had we have looked into it first I think I may have chosen otherwise. The ink is really expensive to buy.
