Cheap printer... cheap is in quality and durability

Summary: The printer worked out "okay" in the beginning... but has been going down hill on fire pretty fast. The printing quality is quite poor. You print out say 5 pages and you need to replace the tiny ink cartridge! I purchased cartridges from another vendor via Amazon and had some issues. I originally bought this at Fry's Electronics for about $20, so I thought it was a great deal. Little did I realize how cheesy this product really is.
Summary: I have an Epson NX430 which is great. The Epson NX130 is far from great - it a total money eater. It won't print properly and then I have to clean the printer heads which uses up a lot of ink. I'm having to do this all the time, sometimes several times in one go to get it working. I've spent loads on ink and have decided that if I want to save money in the long run it's best if I replace this printer. What a waste of money. I won't be buying Epson again.
Summary: I've had this printer for several months and while it was mediocre, at least it printed. Recently, though, getting pages to actually PRINT is nearly impossible, as the printer either won't move the paper forward or runs it through the printer without printing. No wonder it's not being sold new on Amazon anymore. I'm sorry to have wasted my money on this piece of junk.
Summary: I feel that to get the most out of this printer you must modify the install settings, turn on fast printing and adjust the quality to what you need. I installed inkowl refillable cartridges and it has saved me a fortune as epson cartridges are very expensive. Customer service is very good with this product. Remember you get what you pay for!
Summary: First the good. The scanner is good, the pictures or documents I've scanned are clear, if not a touch lighter than the original. And when I can get it to print, it does a good job on basic day to day stuff (pictures are ok, but not amazing). The thing that's so frustrating, and the reason I'll not buy another Epson ever, is the paper feed. I have to wrestle the silly thing to get it to print every time I want to use it.
Summary: I bought 2 of these new, and they have been nothing but trouble. VERY HIGH RATE OF INK CONSUMPTION will keep you busy and your wallet empty purchasing replacement cartridges. Printer refuses to print if it thinks it is out of ink, even if it really isn't. Problem is the chip in the ink cartridge reports ink level to the printer based on page count rather than actual ink reserves, so if your pages don't contain much material, your printer will demand that you replace the...
Summary: I will never buy another Epson printer again! Worst printer I have ever owned! My old Cannon was reliable until had to retire and my HP was solid til it finally gave way and then this monster! I only had this shy of a year and had major problems! Only used it once and ink didn't work. After I purchased new ink it wouldn't read the blue ink cartridge. Bought another pack of ink and still would not print! Flimsy design and unreliable!!!!!
Summary: I agree with nearly every bad review written on here. I have spent 50 dollars on ink and I haven't even owned the printer for 6 months. I've printed less than 200 pages for paper craft projects that I do and on each page the lines are so thin and far spread they wouldn't use half as much ink as a single comparable page from an English paper. I'll give Epson some credit. The fine lines that I do print for the most part come out clean and legible.
