  • Summary: It is very useful for me. It is very easy to understand and simple. Also the ink is not that expensive since you can purchase them at internet or at ebay.

  • Excerpt: I haven't had many printers so can't really compare it to others so just going on what I think of this particular one. It is a multi printer, so copies and scans to. These options also have the facility of choosing black and white or colour, so no ink is wasted if you only need black and white, but...

  • Excerpt: The Epson Stylus DX8400 is an all in one printer, scanner and photocopier which I have had for a couple of years I think. It's currently available for about £100 on the Epson website.

  • Pros: reliable, easy to find cartridges
  • Cons: cartridges don't last long, printer doesn't print if one colour runs out, a bit noisy and bulky

Capable.

  • Excerpt: Epson DX8400. All-in-one printer, scanner and copier. Some people believe that all-in-ones must have inferior capabilities - not so. The machine is reasonably attractive - glossy grey upper surfaces and matt grey sides.

A good quality and reliable printer from a well known brand. I would recommend this to anyone.

  • Excerpt: I have had this printer for over a year and purchased it from my local supermarket for a very reasonable price. It is an all in one printer, i.e. it prints, scans and photocopies. All of the software needed for scanning comes with the printer and is straight forward and easy to use.

  • Excerpt: I have had this printer a while now and in all honesty I have used it very little. From what I have seen it prints photos to a reasonable quality and it is also pretty quick. Unfortunately though I have already run out of ink which is very disappointing as I dont feel that I have used the printer...

  • Excerpt: This is my fourth Epson printer but the first All-in-One. It is very noisy, much worse than my earlier printers and I have been unable to Scan and Save to File with it because the system will not respond in the manner that the Manual says it does.

  • Excerpt: Bought this a couple of weeks ago. Delivery faultless but it was a few days before I had the opportunity to install it. Got to the bit of the instructions where it told me to connect the USB cable. What USB cable? There isnt one.

  • Excerpt: Just bought this product. Great if you want to use it standalone BUT - when installing pc drivers it keeps asking for a file USBCCGP.sys. This does not exist on the provided CD or in windows operating system on my Sony VAIO media pc!
