Excerpt: I decided to buy this shortly after my old Epson printer stopped printing correctly. As a person who is conscious about wasting money, I buy my ink cartridges in bulk so I had lots of ink cartridges left from my latest order. Therefore, I had to buy a replacement printer which used the same ink cartridges as my previous printer was discontinued. Being lucky, I found this Epson Stylus DX7450 on Ebay at a price of £20. The printer itself is 6 kg as stated on the website.
I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone who is looking for a midrange printer.

Excerpt: I purchased this printer for around the £60 mark which i feel is a good price for a multifunction printer of this calibre. It does everything i need and it does it well! Print speed and quality are both good. The colours look good and it benefits from having three separate colour cartridges so they can be replaced separately this is useful due to the fact that some colours get used up quicker than others.
Summary: I have just seen a number of negative reviews for this item, so as an owner I want to put forward my positive experience. I have had this printer for a few years now, and it has got me through university nicely. Most people seem to say the ink runs out extremely fast, however, I have found this to be untrue. The ink in my printer lasts for a long time and is able to print off well over 100 pages without a problem.
Summary: I would strongly recommend NOT buying this printer - it gets through ink at an incredibly fast rate - and won't work with anything but the very expensive genuine epson cartrides - which it tries to sell you via annoying pop-ups every time you run low on a cartridge - which is all the time. It is noisy and unless the paper is placed just so it swings sideways and jams.
Summary: Having had some brilliant service from older Epson printers, this seemed like a sensible buy. Wrong!!!! It gets through a truly incredible amount of ink, makes as much noise as my Dyson, and nearly shakes my Mac off the table. The cat is terrified of it. The only possible reason to use this printer would be if you happened to be passing a window and caught it when someone threw it out in frustration. In fact, no - not even then.
Summary: It's useless in a word. It drinks ink, stops printing certain colours if you haven't used it for a few days and generally ****s me off. I'll never but another Epson printer. The Brother one we have in the office is much better.
Summary: I bought this product a month ago and everytime I use it I die a little inside. Not only is it extremely loud, and ink runs out quicker than Jamacian Legend Usain Bolt. A poor purchase, please do not buy! The Scanner is alright though, but you can get many scanners, all-in-one sets, not this one.
Summary: I always buy Epson because you can get hold of non-branded cheap ink cartridges. The printer is great, I have had no difficulties with changing the cartridges (the wizard just prompts you) and they last a reasonable amount of time. When they don't it's because the wife and kids have been using it up! The only criticism is it doesn't have the enlarging options or the lcd display of the one it replaced and is getting pricey.
Summary: I purchased this printer about 3 weeks ago for black text printing only. I have had to change the ink cartridge twice now, both with extreme difficulty. I first purchased the regular T0711 cartridge and had to go through the replacement routine a few times before the printer picked up that the ink had been replaced.
