Summary: Multifunction Printer?? That's a laugh! I've had the DX 6000 for a while now and although I hardly use it it's not really a printer at all it's only any good as a photocopier! it copies pictures and text alright, but if you try'n print out a page from your computer it fails to pick up the light coloured inks which in most cases happens to be the prices! and the amount of ink it uses is ridiculace.
Do not buy this printer if you don't want lots of hassle

Summary: Hello, I'm normally too busy to write reviews but I decided to offer this review in order to spear hassle and waste of money and time to anyone who is considering buying this printer. I had it for two years and in the beginning it was fine. It did the job. The most problematic area is the ink cartridge. It won't just accept one colour that has gone down, but it won't register that you've put a new cartage in unless you change the rest 3 colours.
Summary: I have to say that when I read reviews it always winds me up when there are obviously finicky people reviewing them that like to moan about everything. However I have to say - I'm not usually one to moan but this printer has been a complete drain on financies AND caused no end of frustration. For starters I'm a computer programmer - so I know about computers so it's not that I've set it up incorrectly...
Summary: Firstly it does not print 27ppm even on the draft facility! The draft facility prints so faintly you cannot read it! Normal printing speed is around 5ppm seriously! It is like taking a step back with technology. PLEASE PLEASE TAKE THIS GOOD ADVICE AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE. I wish i was privvy to this info before i spent £90, yes £90 on this rubbish. Support are useless have no clue what a customer really needs. What more can i say but AAGGHHH...........!!
Summary: I bought this printer and I was impressed for two days! I printed less than ten pages in these two days just to test the photocopier, card reader etc and I had to replace the inks. You have to print something everyday or you will have to clean the head (which wastes ink). I have had nothing but trouble with this printer and I'm afraid I have cut my losses and tossed it in the bin I am that annoyed with it!
Summary: I've had this printer for about six months, as I thought that nothing could be worse than the HP printer it replaced, but I was very, very wrong. For starters, the power cable is constantly dropping out, it just doesnt seem to fit in the socket comfortably at all. And then once you actually get electricity into it and turn it on, it takes a fair few minutes to warm up and while you're waiting you're subjected to some of the most heinous grinding noises you can possibly...
Summary: Had this printer less than a month before it broke down. The black ink print head wouldn't print properly and no amount of cleaning it helped. Now have to go through the hassle of getting it replaced or repaired. In addition, the people complaining about this printer using up ink quickly have got it spot on. Considering the extortionate price of cartridges, this is a major headache. All in all, for 70-odd quid this printer is a major letdown.
Summary: I upgraded to this after long and trusty service from a previous Epson which finally broke down. I would never buy another Epson. It went faulty within a month and the inks run out after only a few copies. They can't be refilled due to a chip which tells the computer they are empty and all the compatibles I tried are, well, incompatible. Its worked out cheaper for me just to buy a different printer and abandon this white elephant.I've used more foul language at this...
Summary: Bought printer as a present for daughter just before Christmas 2006, has now gone faulty April 2007. The paperfeed jams up. Have had 4 previous Epson MFD's all given satisfactory service. Not happy with this one.
