Summary: TOTAL RIP-OFF. I PRINTED FOUR SHEETS OF PAPER IN 2 MONTHS (I RARELY PRINT ANYTHING) AND 2 OF THE COLOR CARTRIAGES WHERE OUT AND IT WON'T PRINT UNTIL YOU REPLACE THE CARTRIAGE(S) EVEN THOUGH THE BLACK WAS FULL. BEWARE!!
They are legitimately trying to steal from you with this printer

Summary: I don't understand if Epson thought that consumers would be really pleased with their system of ink replacement, or maybe just hoped that they could get away with literally stealing from you for as long as possible.
Summary: Well, the printer/scanner itself is great, but OH MY GOD, how does it go through ink just sitting there? I have a single ream of paper still half full and i have replaces every ink cartridge TWICE!! I have not printed ONE SINGLE picture with it in over 8 mths either. DON'T BUY IT!!!!!
Summary: i HAVE TO AGREE with eventing that was said before me. I only print maybe 20-25 pages a year and I have to replace the ink every year. I have never seen any printer use so much ink. The printers I have in the past last years without replacing the ink.
Summary: I'll add myself to the list of unhappy customers. This printer won't allow you to print unless you have all cartridges loaded. Want to print just black & white and your cyan is out? too bad. won't do it. Ok so maybe you never print color, you should be able to print black & white forever. wrong.
Summary: Each time a brand new Epson black cartridge (69) was installed, even when all the other color cartridges were OK, the printer would not even recognize the new cartridge! This printer is absolutely the WORST I have ever bought. With this machine, Epson has lost many customers forever!!!
Summary: I bought this printer at a major electronics store because the price was right. It worked fine until I replaced the first ink cartridges only to have the printer not be able to detect them. I should have stopped there. I bought another set of cartridges only to have the same problem.
