Excerpt: My husband purchased this printer about 5 years ago and it's still running strong! We mostly use it for printing and have had very few problems with it. It holds a good amount of paper and about the only time we've ever had a problem with it is when it occasionally pulls too many sheets, but that's been an easy fix each time. It defaults to color printing, but I like that it's easy to change the settings to black and white.
Excerpt: We received this printer for free after buying a camera from a store and it has served us well in all our printing and scanning needs. The little screen on the top is colored and becomes very informative when you have to change the ink. Out of all the functions, I have used the scanner the most and I find it easy to set up and use. The only downside is that I find it to scan at a very slow pace.

I bought it cause of the features like memory card slots so you can just pop your camara sd card in and presto you can have your photos. Also because of the scanning and coping will make it easier to scan recipies into documents and make copies of letters and other things.
Summary: Have had my Epson CX6000 for a couple of years and it has always been finicky: sucks up a lot of ink; makes noise like a monday morning clunker that won't start to get you work; lotsa trouble with the paper feed; ink splotches on the paper ; and finally the piece de resistance - can hardly get it to feed at all - have to fool with imaginary paper jams 20X to get get one good print. Two big thumbs down !!!
Summary: This is a piece of junk - a boat anchor at best. Worked 13 months and died - all the while it sucked ink cartridges like a Hoover. When I called Epson about troubles with the printer, I was told, "Its out of warranty" by thirty days. See Ya. So, bottom line - $100 printer worked only 18 months. I would never, ever buy another Epson.
Summary: I am so diappionted in this purchase. It has ared smear on top along with a 3inch sticky patch. The corner of printer is damaged, there is a 1/2 inch hole in the corner. Then after I tryed to print something did I realize it didn't have 3 out of 4 inks needed. Those cost more than the printer itself. I wanted a good deal not trash.
Excerpt: All in all, if you are a person who enjoys photography, has a creative flair, or simply tends to constantly be getting doubles or picture enhancements from your local stores, I would recommend this product most definitely. For the eighty or so dollars you will pay initially, within six months to a year, you will have probably regained that money by saving yourself the gas, time, and costs of having local stores do the same things for you that your newly purchased Epson...
