Summary: Acquired one used in a sorry state, cleaned, replaced cartridges, replaced USB printer cable with MediaBridge 16 foot high speed one, which noticeably reduced lag between print command and actual printing. Caveat: download manual it is quite useful in set-up and maintainence of the unit. The manual also includes a very useful troubleshooting guide covers paper jams, blinking lights ,etc and what to do and how to correct malfunctions.
Summary: I've hated this thing all along. I bought extra ink I can't even use because now it won't even turn on (rather, it turns on and works great for 1.5 seconds, then turns off until it is unplugged and replugged for another 1.5 seconds of blinking light bliss! also, I will never buy another single sheet scanner. I bought this on a whim because my main cannon multi was packed up during a move and I needed to scan and print.
Junk, Trash, Terrible, C. R. A. P. No other word for it.

Summary: If I could give this printer no stars I would. It has been nothing but a disappointment from day one. It is a piece of crap and the cost of the ink in comparison to the printer is absurd. The printing is slow, text clarity is fair at best, graphics/images are not any better and the amount of ink you go through is amazing.
Summary: As many of the other recent reviewers, I bought this as a replacement for the exact same all-in-one printer that I have had in a relative's house for many years. The one I received was brand new, in a factory sealed box, and I am very happy with it. It is a great old printer, very durable and should last a long time. One Caveat: if you're buying this as brand new, it's probably "new old stock" and the ink tanks may be dry. I knew that and had no issue with it.
Summary: I bought this as a replacement for the exact same printer that I'd had for six years. Very happy with it. The old one just quit, it had been through quite a lot, homework, copying of homework and many other papers, I also design graphics for product labels, and printed many vinyl labels through this printer with no problem, high quality too. Not to mention photos as well. Highly recommend it. Only thing is be prepared, it's big, takes a lot of space, but worth it.
Summary: The print quality is good on this machines, it just takes forever to print something. When you turn it on and try to print something it takes a least a full minute maybe longer to warm up before it even starts printing. If you are printing a detailed color job, it then takes a long time to print. For simple black ink jobs, once it is warmed up it is pretty quick. No wireless printing capabilities built in, and difficult to install the drivers if you don't have the disk.
