Still working great

D. Bucher "usnad", Amazon
11 March 2014
  • Summary: I have been using this printer for over 10 years and it still works great. I can buy off brand ink cartridges wicked cheap. It has some quirks like it needs to be plugged in the computer before power up but other than that for over ten years old it still beats the new crap out there.

Worked fine for a couple of years

G. Brockett "SJ", Amazon
9 March 2012
  • Summary: I have had this printer for a number of years. I do not do much printing at home so it sits idle / turned off most of the time. The scanning works well, I have found that the copier function is the most used. My only real issue is the cost of inks and that the heads need to be cleaned practically every time I use it (causing it to use more ink.) The layout is kind of clunky, paper feed is from the back, so not the easiest to refill if under a shelf.

epson printer cx3200

runaroundsue22, Ebay
26 February 2009
  • Summary: this is my second one of these printer, mouse chewed up first one after owning for 5-6 years. I like this printer because it can do what i need it to do. It is easy to learn to run, ink is fairly inexpensive, and they last a long time. if you owned this i don't think you would be sorry. It can scan, print online and off. It can print photos. It can enlarge or shrink items. I use this machine in my office until i retired and now use it at home.

EPSON STYLUS CX 3200 PRINTER

tommy17251, Ebay
25 September 2008
  • Summary: I had an Epson printer that came with my origional computer that I loved. The cartridges were only $5 each, and it was perfect for what I needed it to do, and then after 6 years it died..I saw this one listed on E-Bay with a $10 bid and it had the aditional copier, and scaner, all-in-one. So I bid and won the printer for $25.00. The added bonus when I got it is that it takes the same cartridges that my old one used, but it has the extra's that I always wanted. I LOVE IT!

Horrible product

M. Wrapp, Amazon
30 July 2008
  • Summary: This all-in-one unit is not a good choice for several reasons. The ink is very expensive and the cartridges incorporate a proprietary chip so using second-party products is difficult at best. The scanner software (at least for this experienced Mac user) is terrible, only functional on the lowest level. Downloading new drivers made the problems worse.

Bought used, immediate obvious inferior quality

Evan Mulligan "Evan's Essence", Amazon
5 June 2008
  • Summary: I purchased this through the ebay marketplace. The seller sent with no USB cord which is understandable. The speed and quality of the printer never seemed close to average. I am comparing this to past printers such as entry level Lexmark, Canon and HP's. The printer seems to go through quite a bit of work to pull paper through the tray. Spend less and get a stand-a-lone printer. Lexmark is usually a good price and works well.

28 April 2008
  • Excerpt: I have had this printer for almost 4 years. The only problem I have experienced is a permanent scann
  • Pros: Cheap, reliable, good print quality, inexpensive aftermarket cartridges
