Summary: The XP-850 did a masterful job of printing the DVDs---All 40 of them. I was a little frustrated as to very little instructions in the manual on the how to of it. Regular printing is good so far.
Excerpt: Everything is as I had hoped, from copying to wireless printing from smart phones other computers in the house to printing envelopes etc. We greatly enjoy the ease of use. The only drawback so far is it is still such a new product, nobody sells ink cartridges except Epson online so you have to plan...
Excerpt: I ordered this printer because my old printer wouldn't work with windows 8.1. What I got was a pleasent suprise. This printer was easy to set up and program. It prints great and I did 4x6 and 8x10 photos and I got great compliments on the quality of my photos and finishing.
Excerpt: Have been using if for over 2 months and it is a perfect work horse. Mostly used to print pictures, I have been sending pictures on oversea travels directly from my phone or laptop to the printer for the family to enjoy without any problems.
Excerpt: I was always a HP printer fan but my last Hewlett Packard printer was not up to its usual standards so I decided to try an Epson. Wow very happy with the Epson printer. As I print a lot of pictures I went with a photo printer. Pictures are clear and crisp .color sharp definition is great.
Excerpt: Staples only ships the cartridges which makes it a full business days wait when you run out of ink. the machine can only operate if all the cartridges have ink. That includes scanning. Also I thought the rear tray would work better but I only seem to get multiple problems.
Summary: This is my long term usage report, I've had the printer for 2 years now. The printer does what it's supposed to do but you have to work with it. I have had worse experience with other inkjet printers in the past but I would still not describe this one as a positive one.
