Constant paper jamming

Summary: May be we were unlucky but this printer only lasted a couple of weeks before it had to go back. Regularly paper jammed from day 1 and after 10 days gave a 'fatal error' code and then refused to work. Print quality when it did work, however, was very good. Have used Epson printers for 20 years so we will get another one - maybe this was just a 'Friday dud'..........
Paper feed from rear fails and print quality deteriorating
2 weeks ago
Summary: This printer was easy to set up with a USB from my iMac and initially the print quality was excellent. I previously had an XP620 All-in-one which was robust and gave excellent service for 5 years right up until the day it gave me a screen message to say that it was worn out four months ago.
Summary: Before purchase I enquired with Epson if this printer would print borderless on any card size (A6 or 5" square greeting cards). I was told it would. When I tried it out it would not print borderless on that size card. It is limited to what it can print to. When I contacted Epson again at first they denied they would have said it would. I then said I have an email transcript of the conversation. They then said I have been misinformed by the Epson agent.
Summary: I was recommended this by photographers as the ideal printer for the photos and digital art for my teenage children. It is really awkward to use with the paper and the print colour is terrible. However the print quality is excellent. We are all very disappointed. However, Epson were brilliant when I rang them up but we have been unable to sort out the colour.
Summary: The printer itself is neat and compact, it was easy to set up and I had it up and running very quickly. The problem I had was with roller marks down the full length of the print. The main culprit was the middle one, when you looked at it in the light it had the apperance of a railway line. This was more pronounced on full gloss paper, I tried different settings and paper options but with the same result.
Summary: This is the 3rd printer I had from Epson first the XP-650 had to be returned twice for the same fault now with the upgrade to the XP-750 the same problem has developed the scanner wont work. It was easy to setup in USB mode and wireless but for some reason the scanner has a communication problem it shows up in device manager as ok in image devices but (it makes copies ok) it wont work with any software via the Twain driver even though it shows up as no problems.
Summary: First of all the printer doesnt like card. It refuses to print on card. Also there is a problem printing on the photographic paper I have used for years on my Epson R285 . If I put it in the horizontal cassette it leaves an ink mark near the lower end of the paper meaning I cant print A4 pictures. If I put the paper in the back slot , it feeds the paper through without printing on it. Epson say that they can only guarantee printing on their paper!
