good product, good price, but not foolproof

Summary: This Epson printer was purchased used b/c I wrecked the other one, (so now I have one for parts), I am using aftermarket cartridges due to the high price of oem's. These have a little square slot under the contact board where the contact pins touch, I removed a cartridge a bit to quick and caught one of the pins in that square slot and bent it- and that was the end of that printer. the use one works great and I am more careful now!
Summary: I purchased The Epson XP-400 as a replacement for a 6 year old color printer that I had used very hard and had seen its better days. My original printer, many years ago was an Epson as was my original digital camera, which I still have and use from time to time. For my purposes as an a casual photographer and as a general computer user, the XP-400 completely fills my requirements. I have found the color print quality as excellent.
Summary: I bought the Epson All-In-One XP-400 because it was wireless, because of its design and because of its price.. After years of heavy, clumsy-looking HP printers, I wanted something small and sleek and light and not too costly. The XP-400 was all of the above. However, because I had only owned HP printers, it never occurred to me to check the specifications.
Technology-packed printer, that fits almost anywhere.

Summary: Needed a new printer as the previous one I had been using seemed to be going to die soon (no biggie, as I received it for free from a company that was getting rid of them). I specifically searched for a cheap, air-print enabled, printer and found this. I'm extremely satisfied with the product. It has more software features I could have imagined to put in a small printer/scanner/copier.
