Summary: This printer is okay for light use, however the ink is incredibly quick to empty. The money saved on this "affordable" printer has not been worth the insane cost of continually having to replace the ink cartridges after minimal use. Additionally, the printer will NOT work (even if trying to print in black/white or grayscale) if even a single other color needs to be replaced.
Summary: The XP-300 serves my home printing needs really well. It ties in easily with the WI-FI system in our home. However, this printer is a bottomless pit for printing ink. It uses printer in very quickly requiring frequent to Wal Mart to replace the cartridges at least twice a month. My wife and I are the only ones at home and we do not allow our kids to use the printer unless they purchase new ink cartridges.
Summary: I didn’t get it from Amazon, but wish I had checked the reviews first. I got my first PC in 1982 (ZX-81), and my first printer came about eight years later and have had too many since then to remember, but I think I will remember this one. It just does not ever seem to work right and the fact that it will refuse to print black if any of the other colors are out is a deal breaker YOU WILL GO INK BROKE!!!!
Summary: I am delighted with this product. I have had it for over a year now, and have had no problems whatsoever! I also found that the Epson website is easy to navigate when looking for updated drivers and replacement user manuals. I give this small in one 10 out of 10.
Summary: From the time I bought my XP- 300 and the time I first needed to change my cyan cartridge was just a matter of a couple of months and having printed no more than a dozen pages. Either the ink was old by the time I bought the printer or it wasn't properly filled when manufactured.
