Summary: The best printer I have had compared to many, although it loses it connection to the wifi if left on for a few(around 12hrs), it easily beats any other printer/scanner, in printing and scanning quality and maintainence
Summary: We purchased the XP-300 for home use based on a printer comparison article. Inexpensive ink cartridges was a key consideration. It became clear why the cartridges were inexpensive, they are small and hold very little ink. To make matters worse, each time a cartridge is changed you have to go through a cleaning & alignment cycle that uses ink!. The scanner works fine though the software is not very user friendly.
Summary: I bought this printer for a friend for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. She said that she was surprised at how fast the printer was and loved that it was wireless and could even print from her phone.
Summary: This printer does print great and the wireless feature is very handy but now the bad points. I only print documents with an occasional colored page. The individual color cartridges run out before the black. When this happens you cannot print even a b&w doc without replacing that color cartridge, that is very inconvenient and expensive. I guess this a general feature of an inexpensive printer. My previous Cannon printed even when a color was empty.
Summary: I wasn't sure if I did the right thing going from a printer with six inks to four but the quality I was used to with my previous Epson all in one printer has not been lost . I am totally satisfied with my purchase and still intend to have my previous printer looked at so I might have the benefit of two awesome printers.
