Total junk, run fast away from Epson and buy an HP.

Summary: I bought this printer brand new. It immediately said the ink level is low, and to replace noted cartridge(s). There is no way it could have run out of ink in such a short time with so little use. Furthermore, if even just one of the cartridges is low, it not only won't let you print in other colors or black/white, but it disables the whole machine so you cannot scan or copy either until you buy more cartridges!
this is one great printer I like the Epson printers

Summary: I like the epson brand I have had one before. It worked well and printed good pictures and the ink is not very costly. It is very easy to use and just a nice printer. There is nothing I dislike about this printer.I think this printer works very well compared to other printers. I have far less problems than I have had with my Kodak printer . It gets a 10 from me for over all good printer with good quality printing.
Except for the cheap plastic construction, we like it so far

Excerpt: We purchased the Epson Artisan 800 photo printer about three weeks ago. So far, it is working very well. We like the quality of print but do not expect the printer it's self to last very long. The inexpensive plastic paper bin may lend it's self to breaking if not carefully handled. ( This is not a good thing when you have 3 children in the home who may not be as careful as an adult. But this remains to be seen...
Excerpt: I got the Epson Artisan 800 to start scanning my old photos and have a better color printer for my digital photos. I got a fax and copier as a bonus! It was easy to set up (after purchasing the required USB printer cable) and start using with my new iMAC. Since I am new to the MAC, I was worried about compatibility, but it was not a problem. The printer is a bit larger than I expected, but it is more compact than the older version.
Excerpt: I purchased the Epson Artisan 800 printer through Epson's online store, the service and speed of shipping was great. This printer is by far the best all-in-one printer that i have owned. This printer has a fax, scanner, copier and dvd/cd printer. I have owned the epson printers R220 & R320 series printers they were good but were not all-in-ones. Then I purchased a RX595 all-in-one this printer had everything except the fax.
Excerpt: I bought the Epson Artisan when it was fairly new to the market. The first one I purchased wouldn't recognize two of the ink cartridges and I discovered that the ink was leaking out the bottom of the printer all over my desk. So not a good initial experience. I easily exchanged it at the store and the second has worked wonderfully. The wireless set up was fairly easy, and it works well, so I can use it with both of the computers in my house.
Excerpt: My HP 3210 died, it started spewing out all colors of ink when I tried to print something, So I gave it a funeral with the trash bin. So, looking for an all in one, I found this Epson Artisian 810, prices at $139.00 at Best Buy. I went and looked it over, I liked what I saw. It prints everything including CD's on the DISC. No more paper labels! It does nearly everything well, except BAR CODES. If the bar Code is too small, it comes out blurry.
