Summary: I've had this printer for a few years now, and most of the time it prints just fine. But the issues I have with it are that the paper feed, for whatever reason, grabs 2-5 sheets when it prints so I waste a lot, especially when it partially prints on each staggered sheet. And yes, I fan my paper thoroughly before putting it into the cartridge.
Summary: It's a noisy machine. Even when not printing it will start to move internals as if it is looking for attention. Also the wifi is iffy. I found that I could print some documents with no trouble, then moments later the printer would pause and not print any longer. Most vexing to have to unplug the laptop, then USB into the printer to get the job done.
Summary: I am on my second one as the first one was a lemon....the one they sent me to replace it is a little better, but sometimes just doesn't want to print. For the price I paid, it is adequate. It does scan and copy really well, though. Just has a problem printing from time to time.
Summary: I bought this for my wife a year ago and I've heard nothing but complaints. I use it occasionally from my office and I don't think it has ever worked the first time for me. So it's multiple trips across the house to get a print. When it does print the quality is good. Often there are paper jams and head cleaning to be done first. It has a cheap feel to it that I noticed when I first pulled it out of the box.
Summary: Just over a year of use and print quality is VERY inconsistent -many gray lines appear on a page of black print. Cleaned the heads numerous times but problem returns soon thereafter. Also changed partially full ink cartridge to test if that was the culprit, to no avail. Thankfully I bought an extended warranty from Office Max so I'm returning it for a full refund. Never again!
Summary: I'm a scrapbooker and a pretty decent photographer, if I do say so myself. I needed a really good photo printer.... as well as a copier, scanner, etc. I had an "HP all in one" that was really good, but unfortunately it died after many years of great service. So, I did a lot of research before making my replacement decision ... and it came down to this Epson or an all in one Canon MG 8125 or something like that.
Summary: Although this printer does a very nice job color-wise, it is without a doubt the most aggravating and frustrating printer I have ever owned! Paper jams are the worst. GO BACK TO THE STYLUS 820 TYPE!! I NEVER HAD ISSUES WITH IT, OTHER THAN WEARING IT OUT!!!
Summary: Paper feeder is very poor, it is constantly feeding two or more papers thru when printing. The paper draw is annoying since I have to take the paper out when I print checks because of the poor feeder, then open and replace the paper supply.
