... were split right down the middle--some said it was wonderful, some said it was terrible

Summary: I read many reviews on this printer before buying it and they were split right down the middle--some said it was wonderful, some said it was terrible. Since I was buying this from a vendor that was charging way more than what Epson itself was charging for the printer (unfortunately, they were out of...
Summary: This printer will not work if any of the ink tanks are empty. I need to print black and white pages and as far as I can tell I can't force it to print black and white with an empty cyan ink cartridge. This is unacceptable.
Summary: I spent a lot of money on this when I first graduated high school thinking I was getting the best one that would last throughout college. It worked for one semester and then won't work for months and months then I will fix one problem and print one thing and it'll have a new problem.
Summary: OK Great! I bought this printer because of all the great reviews....10 months in and problems begin. First the bleeding of ink till it's empty, then the new OEM replaced ones aren't printing. Now it won't recognize a particular cartridge. I've done my due diligence of websites and help videos.
Summary: I have owned 3 printers in my life. The first reliably printed thousands of papers. This model, the Epson 730, has been the most frustrating, non-productive machine ever. You are constantly re-stocking the ink (and you are ALWAYS out of one of the ink cartridges) no cartridge - no printing.
Summary: I GOT THIS PRINTER FOR CHRISTMAS ONE YEAR AND THE FIRST TIME I EVER PRINTED I HAD TROUBLE! I HAVE NOT HAD A TIME WHEN I DID NOT HAVE TROUBLE WITH THIS STUPID PRINTER. THE WHOLE REASON FOR THE PRINTER WAS TO PRINT PICTURES AND THE PICTURES HAVE LINES ACROSS THEM. IT HAS PROBLEMS GRABBING PAGES.
Summary: I bought this printer not just for printing text documents, but for picture printing as well. My last picture printer had ink issues, where the pictures came out wet and color output was completely off. Same thing happened only 6 months after buying this Epson.
Summary: After 2 months my printer began leaking ink. According to Epson warranty I was covered for 1 year.. When I asked them about the warranty, they told me it was expired. I told them that the Amazon invoice showed that I only had it for 2 months. They asked me to e-mail it, which I did.
Summary: Ink cartridges for this printer have a chip on them so Epson can control whether you use their cartridges or not. That sucks but I'll leave that argument for another time. I bought GENUINE Epson cartridges for this print so I wouldn't have a problem, right? WRONG.
