Excerpt: I owned a B&W laser printer and it worked great, but I really wanted a printer that could do it all. The laser printer is great for B&W text, but this is good for everything. Two of my favorite features on this printer is that it holds 4x6 OR 5x7 paper AND 8 1/2 x 11 paper at the same time AND it prints double-sided. I often print pictures but don't like switching out the paper all the time to add the 8 1/2 x 11 paper.
This Epson Printer works great, but could use to be quieter.

Excerpt: This epson printer works great but has a few things that aren't up to my needs. One plus is that has automatic mode for scanning which figures out the edges of your image/paper and sizes the document on the screen for you. The normal printing is quite loud and isn't too fast, but for a home printer it works great. Only thing it is missing is a top feed scanner as well. I would buy again. Epson is a good brand too.
Excerpt: The Epson Artisan 710 provides excellent quality prints and adequate scanning wirelessly. It is fairly large unit, so measure your space carefully before committing this printer to it. You will need to accommodate the scanner lid (overhead clearance) and the output tray in addition. The printer burns through ink fairly rapidly, so find your least expensive ink vendor and have them on tap.
Summary: I purchased this printer because it prints on CD's. It does a nice job. The photo quality is very good too. I dislike what everyone dislikes about their ink jet printers, the small over-priced ink supply... No other inkjet has the feature I want so there is NO COMPARISON! When this one dies I hope I can find another one.
Summary: Forget about the rest. It is dependable, hard-core and wireless. It has a large paper tray. what more can you ask for? I would suggest that you only buy epson ink, i've had too many problems with the knockoffs.
Summary: After 15 years of HP printers and their associated software problems, I decided to try Epson. Friends have shared great reports on Epson's pigment-based inks, the multiple ink tank system, that Epson prints superior quality photos, etc. The printed photos are stunning. My only complaints are: the multi-function's flimsy construction and its rather large footprint.
Pros: Easy Setup, Easy To Use, Great Print Quality
