Summary: I have had this printer for awhile. The reason I gave this 2 stars is, it does not make it easy to use when it comes down to ink cartridges. I have had 3 different trips to the store to make a purchase.
Summary: I've had this printer for about 3 years. The photo prints are truly impressive. Printed CDs are also awesome. I'd like to recommend based on this, but there are some serious flaws in the design. Downsides: 1. Really slow to warm up and get going.
Just over a year old and the waste ink pad needs replacing

Summary: I love just about everything about this printer except that the waste ink pads need replacing so soon. This is a service center fix that will cost as much as the printer so it only makes sense to replace the printer. This printer has had light to moderate use at home. Buyer beware.
Summary: This was such a disappointing purchase for me. I've had several Epson printers in the past 12 years and have met varying degrees of satisfaction from them. I read initial reviews that praised the Artisan 700 for it's print quality and features, thus made the purchase after quite some deliberation.
Summary: and do not buy the aritsan 700. Epson should be ashamed of themselves for putting a printer like this on the market. Especially at the price it's at. It guzzles ink, extremely slow start up times, and constant clogged printheads and streaked, poor quality prints.
Summary: I got the artisan 700 on clearance about 10 months ago. I now know why it was a clearance item. I had a very hard time setting up the wireless connection to the printer initially and about every 2 months I'm calling the assistance number to get help because the connection will mysteriously...
Summary: Bought this printer in March of 2009. LOVED it. Easy to set up, simple to use, superb prints, excellent prints on CDs/DVDs. This printer was very well maintained and protected, never bumped, dropped, or damaged in any way. I never had a paper jam or any paper feeding issues, not even once.
Summary: My 10 year old HP Photosmart has considerably better photo quality printing than the Epson Artisan 700. The paper trays do not fit exactly and the printing tray is cheaply made. Also, the printer uses black ink extremely fast.
Summary: I purchased this printer three weeks ago. When the printer is working correctly, the print quality is superb. I like the fact that Epson has done away with the plastic tray that used to be necessary for printing on CDs and DVDs. The scanner is also top notch.
