"Horrible printer. Worst printer I've ever used."

tmeeks, CNET
20 April 2012
  • Pros: Nice looking. Not
  • Cons: Printer will not stayed connected wirelessly. might work 2-3 days then will quit working. Only way to fix is uninstall and reinstall printer. Rinse and repeat. Won't allow you to print in even black only if the color print cartridge is empty.

"Poor copy quality (when it works); Expensive"

LDOGO, CNET
25 March 2012
  • Pros: It worked well for about the first 20 copies. The remaining 250 plus got chalked up to printer head cleaning and alignments.
  • Cons: Requires constant cleaning of print heads which consumes most of the color ink and even after cleaning, the printer still puts horizontal streaks in the print. Wireless is not reliable, fax function does not confirm receipt of fax.

"This printer is an ink guzzler even in draft mode."

RollingAlong, CNET
16 January 2012
  • Pros: Good quality printouts
  • Cons: 1. Runs out of ink quickly 2. Printer requires frequent resetting (disconnecting and reconnecting power cord) to resume communications with the computer when printing wirelessly via network.

Never purchase this printer!

jmbmh1, Ebay
8 January 2012
  • Summary: This is the worst printer I have ever used. The ink does not print very well, ink jets clog, and the machine is impossible to clean easily. Even with new ink cartridges I had nothing but problems. I threw the thing away!

This low cost do-it-all wireless printer cost me my laptop. Beware.

thegoodstuff904, Ebay
3 December 2011
  • Summary: Second Dell printer that I've owned, I was very pleased with the first one even though their ink is a little pricey. This printer however I was not at all pleased with; in fact it crashed my Dell D820 and forced me to buy a whole new setup-went HP laptop + printer this time and I'm very happy. When I first opened up the printer and ran the install cd, everything went fine, even got a sample page out of it.

What a piece of CRAP - Save your MONEY

akcbulls, Ebay
23 November 2011
  • Summary: I also came across this all in one ink jet printer on ebays daily deal. I thought, great everything I needed at a great price and a great product in Dell. Wow was i terrably mistaken, I love how mostly everyone who bought this crap seems to have written their reviews before they have had a chance to actually use it for a month. I, nor my family hardly use this printer because of the cost of the DELL ink you must buy for it.

"Worst Printer I Have Ever Owned"

Hokukai2, CNET
18 November 2011
  • Pros: Turns On, looks pretty, makes interesting sounds when deep cleaning the print head which is required. Which is nearly every time printing is required. Surface is large to catch plenty of dust from lack of use.
  • Cons: This printer has been replaced three times, along with two print heads. I print about 150 pages a month and this unit can not handle even that. Scanner works, but always with errors. Fax has poor quality and jams every time.
