Summary: I bought the Dell P703W AIO printer several years ago and at first it worked well, although I found the feature annoying that freezes printing until the ink jet cartridges (both B/W and Color) are replaced, even though there was still ink in both cartridges. Can you say "rip off?" That got to be really expensive. But I noted that the scanning feature stopped working within the first year despite my best efforts to get it to work.
Summary: DELL should be ashamed of themselves for selling such a poor printer. It constantly runs out of ink and won't let you use other features on the printer if ink cartridges are empty...or if black ink is out you cannot print in color. Also machine only allows DELL cartridges...no generics allowed. What a rip off piece of trash machine... This will be the last time I get the printer package when I buy a DELL...
Summary: I will NEVER EVER buy a Dell printer again and would NEVER recommend it. It goes through ink in about a week or two for less than 100 pages. I am constantly refilling the ink, both color and black and white. And you have to order them online. And they are EXPENSIVE!! With my old printer, I only had to refill the printer cartridges every few months for the same amount of printing.
Summary: I wish I could give this less than one star!! Worked fine thru the warranty period and then Staples stopped selling the ink due to no demand. I found out why! This printer turned out to be a piece of crap! Even with new Dell cartridges, the ink stops printing on the page and no amount of print head tweeking, cleaning, etc. worked. Do NOT buy this! My little Dell 926 works 10 times better and was much less expensive. Think I'm going to try HP next though.
Summary: This printer is a complete piece of junk. The wireless connectivity has never worked, and the black ink cartridge quit working after just a few months of occasional (once/week) use. Even when it was working, the print quality was poor. I called Dell technical support and after an hour of troubleshooting, their suggested fix was to buy a new printer. Don't waste your money or your time with this one.
Summary: I bought this printer in Jan. 2009. The first one wouldn't print it kept saying there was no black ink even though I would put in a new cartrige; I spent well over 3 or 4 hours with Dell tech support and some guy in India who I could barely understand. After numerous calls and time, they agreed to send me a new printer.
Summary: This thing is everything the other posters have stated. Trash. Dell should be reaching out to customers who bought this p.o.s. and trying to make it right. I obviously don't expect that. Wifi as terrible. As soon as we replaced the ink cartridges, the black stopped working. Nothing I can find to fix it. It's going out to the desert for a few 5.56's to go through it.
