Summary: This printer worked great when we first got it but now there are annoying streaks along the side of the paper if you print something to close to the edge. I prob would not buy another one again. Not sure how to fix it either. I feel we payed to much for this to have it print horribly. To bad. I liked the printer when we first bought it.
Summary: I had to purchase a new All in one since my 966 was not compatible with my upgrade of windows 7. The 966 was very easy to use and had the scanning problem on the printer disc. This new one does not. I receive this other disc with no explanation with other useless programs that I do not want going into my programs taking up space on my hard drive. What a waste of time for me. I spent all morning working on this only to then discover this is what happened.
Summary: I thought that I was ordering a wireless printer. It turns out that you have to order the C1765NFw, note the w, if you want a wireless printer. Also, I had to go through Dell on the set up. I'm not sure the Ethernet connection was working on my printer and would have to send back anyway. We were able to get the printer to work using a USB cable.
Summary: This is a great All-In-One printer. It's fast, quiet, and prints excellent color prints. My only concern is that the paper tray must be open to hold paper. The printer footprint is actually larger once you open to tray door.
Summary: I purchased my MFC 1355cnw about 3 years ago. I had some issues in setting it up the printer but found help in the User Guide and The software Utilities. I even learned how to change paper size using the Dell Utilites that I loaded onto my computer. Network installation was not a problem, but it was a little frustrating, finally the IP address assigned popped right in place.
Summary: The print quality is outstanding. The price of the printer is at the point where they can not offer some advanced features, but for the minimal amount of color printing I do, this was not an issue. Two examples are no auto duplex and the printer does not handle heavy card stock well. Again, at this price point it would be hard to expect absolutely everything. The print quality far exceeds the Epson Inkjet it replaced at a lower price point.
