Summary: The seller sold something without sending a disc for the drivers and then after that was done cartridges were purchase and the printer would not print. We clean the heads and try everything to get it functional. I call a computer tech as well to assist me. I need some school work to print and had to ask for additional time so that I could purchase another printer. The seller should have been forward with the problem of the printer.
Summary: We've owned one for the last 8 years and worked great until the extinction of Windows XP. This printer is not capatable with Windows 7 or 8 as we found out after we purchased our new DELL computer. So if you have a Windows 7 or 8 computer don't purchase. Per DELL they are not going to update drivers for this printer to work with Windows 7 or 8. So now I'm printer shopping and looking for a recycler to take my 924.
Summary: I hook up this printer about every six months to perform simple tasks and have problems with it every time. The screen menu is hard to navigate . It uses a lot of ink. It will pretend to print, only to spit out blank pages. This is a terrible product and I will never buy anything from Dell again.
Summary: I've had my Dell 924 printer for 8 1/2 years and it has always printed perfectly. I've never done photos with it so I cannot comment on that. I had a paper jam (one of very few I have had with this printer) about two months ago and in clearing it the printer spit out a piece of plastic about one inch long.
Summary: My experience with this printer has been excellent. It's been a workhorse for a long time now still without any problems, thankfully. I've had trouble with Dell's customer service with my laptops in the past, they're just awful. The printer itself is great though, highly recommend!
Reliable, trusted printer lasted over 6 years. . .

Summary: It would have lasted longer, but the cat broke it. Mr. Terror Kitten jumped on it and it no longer feeds paper. Very disappointed to lose this Dell All-in-One and to figure out what to replace it with. Over the 6+ years I owned the 924, I've upgraded my PC several times (long since dumped the Dell desktop I bought at the same time) but this printer just kept on truckin'.
