Summary: This is the most frustrating printer I have ever encountered. Near constant paper jams, some almost impossible to clear without tiny hands and tweezers. Very frequently pulls through about 5-10 pages when trying to print one page. Takes FOREVER to warm up, and seems to have to re-warm up in between every job. Won't print faxes if it thinks toner is low, even though the toner will last for months upon months after it starts giving warnings. Spits paper all over the floor.
Summary: Worst device you can ever buy!! Never works properly either scans and does Not print and vice versa. Big and not at all productive. Not worth it, use your money on another printer and save your self the hassle. The worst part is that when you call DELL, all the people are from India or Pakistan and is so hard to understand them. It took me 5 hours for the guy to try to fix my printer and later telos me is defective. I HATE DELL!
Summary: It crapped out after 5 months...then I found out I hade to transfer the waranty to me from Amazon. Long story short after only 5 months and spending $150.00 on a new ink cartridge I went to a store and bought an HP.
Summary: CONS: generates a lot of heat (not energy efficient despite the energy star label) very noisy even when idling (only quiets down when it goes into power save mode) slow warm up (once it is ready it prints fast but it takes a long time to warm up and by the time it does, brother's laser printer has already dished out the same job elsewhere in the office due to no warm up phase and simpler user interface) does not save settings despite the message "saving settings...
Summary: Have had my Dell 2335dn for a little over two years. OK until recently when I started have frequent paper jams. Called Dell and at first the lady said they would send me a replacement. Then, she called back and left a short message on our answering machine that our product was out of warranty. Well, I knew that and never expected them to replace it but certainly was willing for them to do that when the lady said she was going to.
