Summary: It does everything very well but the ink does not last long and costs a lot to replace. Canon has made it very hard to fit a ciss by not leaving much room above the cartridges for the ink pipes. Compatible cartridges or refilling is proberbly the way to go unless you don't print much.
Pros: Good Quality results & looks good
Cons: very expensive and small capacity cartridges
Summary: A good looking piece of kit, looks and feels sturdy and stylish. I found the instruction book a bit annoying. Every page is printed in several languages so usually you're only reading the top few lines before turning the page again.
Summary: Generally happy with printer which does all it says. Main sticking points have been with the duplex function which does not allow borderless double sided printing something we have found useful in the past with our previous printer.
Great printer, huge range of options, but quite fiddly and takes an age to boot up.

Summary: I could quite easily leave this review with just the words in the title above, which pretty much sums up what I think. I've always used Canon printers from simple inkjet printers to these larger multi-functionals.
Summary: The Canon PIXMA MX885 All-In-One Colour Photo Printer has a multitude of uses. As is usual with products that insist on providing manuals on line, the indexing and referencing is boringly tedious.
Summary: As a business we need a good all round machine especially for scanning and also for the printing of professional documents. We have our Canon MX885 wired into our network and it does seem quite slow to respond to an instruction to print.
Summary: Good looking, easy to set up, duplex scanning and printing excellent. Love the wireless - but follow the instructions carefully, making sure that your router's searching button is activated so that the printer and router are looking for each other.
