Summary: Could I possibly put 0 stars.... This is the second consecutive canon Pixma that has let me down. I shoud have known better. Where to start, let's see.... Scanning: the feeder works 2 times out of 10. one has to feed paper one sheet at at time (what's the point of a feeder then?). Most of the times it jams... useless Printing: first page takes ages to apear. Photo printing is nothing to get exhited about, I guess it is OK.... but wait.... the feeder again...
Summary: There isn't much to love, or disagree about this printer. We've had it for a while now, and it's worked as advertised. The only bit that I'd like improved is support for cloud printing so I can print from anywhere, including my phone and tablets. Also, Canon could do a lot of things to improve its own printing app for Android. It's horrendous. The printer & scanner itself, pretty reliable for the kind of moderate use we put it through.
Summary: This was an amazing bargain as I paid less than half the price they are selling in shops and what an amazing product. You don't have to do anything as it does EVERYTHING for you and even tells you step by step what you need to do. I love love love this amazing product. I have never use the scanner or fax but the copying and printing is fantastic!
Summary: The printer was only lightly used but after exactly 2 years of operation it conked out with B200 error which is widely reported on the internet. The error in my case was fatal as I am not willing to put out repair costs to the same value as a new printer. I will never buy another Canon product and it is policies like theirs which are helping to fill the landfill sites with rubbish.
Summary: I've had it for about a year. Firstly it starts up slow, making funny noises and then you find out that a large portion of your (extremely expensive) ink has disappeared down a black hole. I only use it rarely and this loss of ink is terrible, particularly considering how small the ink cartridges are to begin with. Maybe If I left it on all the time it might not lose as much ink, but I'm not going to do that. The scanner and photocopy work ok.
Summary: The Canon PIXMA MX885 All-In-One Colour Photo Printer has a multitude of uses. As is usual with products that insist on providing manuals on line, the indexing and referencing is boringly tedious.
Avoid - Does not last long before unresolvable error

Summary: Like others, and with minimal use, this printer has developed an error 6C10 that cannot be resolved without a return to Canon service centre. Tried all the fixes with no joy. Will be going in the bin and not purchasing another Canon printer. Google it - it is clearly a common weakness in the quality of Canon printers. Great idea - badly executed.
Very Good network and connections; pretty good printing

Summary: Upgraded from another Pixma, and this is very similar The network connectivity is great - I scan direct to SD card in the PIXMA without needing my computer and then as soon as i next use my laptop it automatically uploads all the new scans. A FEW MINOR NEGATIVES / GRIPES LISTED BELOW but otherwise happy with this Printing on photo grade paper is really very good for colours Blacks on normal paper are a little light A bit slow to start up Menus a bit over the top - to get...
