Summary: I needed a printer that produced good photo prints, had a document feeder with duplex scanner and printer and could be easily networked. This has fitted the bill perfectly. The software works well and we can print and scan from all our PC's and the old mac (powerpc)
Summary: Some good points - but outweighed by the fact it uses so much ink and more frustratingly won't print if one of the (colour) catridges is empty...even if you want to print in black and white. Software not user friendly either.
Summary: This has just died after 3 years - it won't scan and it's dropped to 5 minutes to print a page, so I've scrapped it.. While it did everything I asked of it, the 2-star rating is due to ink consumption.
Summary: Purchased this printer in 2012. When I last use the printer it was fine. Then went to use it recently and an error message of 6500 is all I am getting. Checked the printer and can find nothing loose inside.
Summary: Could I possibly put 0 stars.... This is the second consecutive canon Pixma that has let me down. I shoud have known better. Where to start, let's see.... Scanning: the feeder works 2 times out of 10. one has to feed paper one sheet at at time (what's the point of a feeder then?).
Summary: There isn't much to love, or disagree about this printer. We've had it for a while now, and it's worked as advertised. The only bit that I'd like improved is support for cloud printing so I can print from anywhere, including my phone and tablets.
Summary: This was an amazing bargain as I paid less than half the price they are selling in shops and what an amazing product. You don't have to do anything as it does EVERYTHING for you and even tells you step by step what you need to do. I love love love this amazing product.
