Canon PIXMA MX7600 printer

myworkforcecdp, ReviewStream
26 July 2014
  • Excerpt: We bought the Canon PIXMA MX7600 because our old desktop printer won’t work anymore. The good thing about this printer is that the printing quality is much better now. It addresses the perennial issue of lack of clarity which inkjet printers have. With the said printer, it actually comes …

Good and Bad

Snow, pcRUSH.com
9 March 2010
  • Summary: Comments about Canon PIXMA MX7600 Multifunction Photo Printer: I purchased this printer because my old HP never printed photos well. I now find that I rarely use that feature which the Pixma does particularly well. Functions that were so easy and intuitive with the HP are complicated on the Canon.
  • Pros: Compact Design, Great Print Quality
  • Cons: Complicated operation, Hard Setup

Don't use with Mac

Disappointed of TW, Amazon
19 July 2012
  • Summary: Excellent Scans / copying and printing. However, It simply does not seem to be compatible with Mac. The error messages (communication error) just keep coming and no number of technicians has been able to find the problem. Great piece of kit....when it works (with Mac).

Canon PIXMA MX7600 All-In-One InkJet Printer Review

Pete, Unbeatable
3 May 2012
  • Excerpt: As the title says, no disappointment, crazy not to buy. A bit slow to get going but very quick after the first, I printed a picture, scanned, printed and could not tell by looking, which was which. Highly recommended.
  • Pros: Everything
  • Cons: So far, none

No no, real shame, but no - died after 15 months of light use

Mac "scubaman", Amazon
9 January 2012
  • Summary: Just not up to anything other than a very very small workload. Very well made machine compared to most plasticky things out there (ben then for £325 it should have been), but not capable of handling anything but a very small workload over time.

Canon Pixma MX7600 Multifunction Printer

Peter N, Amazon
11 November 2011
  • Summary: This machine replaced a caboodle of 5, plus a complex wiring loom, which I was using to archive documents with a throughput scanner. In addition it does excellent printing and copying and has duplex.

Had one for two years now!

  • Summary: I bought the MX7600 about two years ago. It is big and heavy but has worked well up and until about 1 month ago. Previously it would make a loud "clicking" sound like a cog slipping when starting up but eventually settled down to excellent printing and copying. I also used it as fax machine.

  • Summary: I ordered the Cannon PIXMA MX7600 as we have had something similar before. This product is easy to install and is easy to use with clear instructions. The print quality is excellent and I cannot praise this printer enough.

MX7600 only for photos

J. M. Craig "McLeod", Amazon
19 May 2011
  • Summary: It may be OK for Photo Printing, but if you want to use this printer for anything else, forget it, its slow & noisy, seems to want to take 10 minutes thinking time, every time you want a quick print. Will only print from the back tray if its special printing.

Very poor compatibility

Daniel J. Staple "orionrobots", Amazon
12 March 2011
  • Summary: Only buy this printer if you intend a windows only network. The ADF has a separate scanning element - far inferior to the flat bed. Feature-wise it sounds good - but I am going to have to get rid of it given that I've only one windows device on a network of macs and linux boxes.
