Conclusion: This is one of the worst machines I've ever had. The instructive pictures do not correspond to the actual dimensions of the product; there is no way to clear a paper jamb because there are no releases, there is no access to the jamming process; the ports don't respond well and change instructions to...
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, Low Quality Output, unreliable, Flimsy Construction
Conclusion: The setup wasn't bad and we have had it networked for probably a year. My wife has used it for printing pictures and scanning so it's all good there.Love being able to print via the wireless BUT it is supposed to be 802.11b/g/n compliant but will not identify my 11n network.
Pros: reliable, durable, High Quality Output, price
Conclusion: This printer is perhaps one of the most confusing to use that I've ever encountered, but only in the setup phase. The day to day printing, once it's working, is fine. I haven't had a problem with slow printouts and such. The pages look good, not exceptional, but reasonably good.
Pros: Small Footprint, High Quality Output, scanner does a good job
Cons: Difficult to use, Difficult Setup, terrible user interface
Summary: Buyer's beware. This printer takes up a lot of space though not as bad as some HP printers. If you are in the market for cheap and don't care about connecting this printer through a wireless network then choose this one otherwise, don't go cheap and always do your research first.
Pros: Fast printing and colors are vibrant. Setting up was easy.
Cons: When it came to installing this printer over the wireless network, it was a pain to set up. I couldn't get it to set up wirelessly. Another down side was that I couldn't get this product to update to the latest firmware. I tried everything to get it to download the latest firmware.
Conclusion: I have been using this printer for a year and half. The design is alright and I have it networked in 3 devices. Networking was no problem. The ink quality is ok but cartridges are not economical by any means and hold far less ink. I haven't tired the XXL yet.
Pros: reliable, High Quality Output, fast print speed
Cons: Difficult to use, Difficult Setup, uses a lot of ink
Conclusion: I would not recommend this printer to anyone. I do not like the front load for paper and I have had a lot of problems with this printer. It doesn't always want to print and there isn't anything I've done differently. Not a good choice!
Pros: Easy Setup, durable, High Quality Output, fast print speed, easy to use
Summary: This printer cost less than a new set of inks for my old HP. It is relatively has a better (if slower) scanner, but with fewer controls. Photo quality on plain paper is excellent. It seems to use a little more ink than the HP. That said, it is a perfectly fine basic printer
Summary: This product could have been much better, but I think Canon went cheap on making it. I got this printer for my parents for christmas, and saw that it was Airprint compatible. They use apple products so I thought this was great since they've been needing a wireless printer for A LONG time now, and...
