Summary: Great printer! I really like its design. The feeder is pretty slow, but alright. Its speed of printing is pretty fast in color and black and white. I don't like the scanning program. The ink is ok. I love the price, I paid $120. Set up was easy. It prints photos on photo paper is very high quality and faster than most other printers.
Pros: Fast Printing, Good Value for money, Nice design, Looks like a premium product, Quick startup, nice LCD screen, ease of use, comes with a telephone port, superb quality for the price, good after-sales service, 3 years warranty (Malaysia. )
Cons: Fax mode does not have a ringtone unless you plus it to a phone, ink is slightly more expensive than my old HP to use overall, instruction book is not complete as I had to take many steps on my own which were not in the manual.
Pros: set up was fairly easy more options than i need at the moment for a great price ($100) no software compatibility issues so far print quality better than i expected ink not much more than i was paying for my previous hp printer
Cons: it is larger than i wanted in a printer - taking up more desk space but i can deal with this...
Summary: I had so many machines sitting around the house that I wanted an all-in-one printer so I could eliminate a printer with a scanner and a separate fax machine. I have not used this printer that much but I do love the wireless scan option and the fact that I can also print wirelessly. The printer setup was fairly easy and the on screen printer icons are a big help. The fact that this printer comes with an actual paper user manual is a super big plus.
Summary: I bought this printer as a backup for my older Canon MP610 I paid $69 a special price from Buy.com thru Ebay. The only disapointments are the cost of ink. It's not quiet printing & as fast as my MP610, but I'm not complaining the price makes up for it. It a fun printer and I like it even with it's short comings. Between work & home I used Brother,Canon,HP & Lexmark. I find that Canon printers are the best printers.
