Summary: This has been the most reliable printers I have ever had. Its a power printer. I have had several Dell printers and each one broke after 1 year. I have had this printer 3 years and it keeps on ticking. Prints clearly and fast. Ink is reasonably priced. I have scanned and faxed many times. I would have to say its easier to send a Fax then receive one. Also it does not have any wireless capabilities (which I do not need).
Summary: It's all around the best printer I have owned so far. The picture quality is awesome. I love the fact I can print from my kitchen table using my laptop. My son can print from his room without bothering me, big PLUS!!! Color ink does go quick but if you don't use color much then your okay. Print fast, copies are beautiful. I haven't faxed yet but I'm sure I will have no problem. I would recommend this product to all my friends and family.
Pros: *Actually, the ink is a very good value. Always buy the extra large cartridges. If you don't use lots of color, buy the standard size and set your machine to print gray-scale only to save on color for only when you need it. Also, set it for fast printin
Cons: *LCD screen is small and not back-lit. Not a major thing, but it would have been nice to have been lit. *In a networked world, I think all printers should have an Ethernet port available.
Summary: good looking piece of equipment, extremely well packed, reasonably easy to set up,straight forward in use, requires a well supported base to place it on.all in all a tip top product at a reasonable price, thankyou h whitehead.
Summary: This arrived just before lunch. Unpacked - lots of plastic protection film to remove, including some in the bowels of the machine - then studied manual over lunch. Manual very clearly written in a "monkey see, monkey do" style. Setup no problem, first install ink cartridges, then install drivers, then use! It really was that easy, took, maybe, 20 minutes or so at most. Probably took longer to get it out of the box and remove all the packing etc!
Summary: I bought this because it fits all functions in one box. The get-you-going documentation was great and I set up a desktop and a couple of laptops (windows & Mac) very easily for wireless printing. Scanning and copying all work well, but I haven't used the FAX - don't think I'll ever need to, but it's there if I need it. Maybe not the quickest, but certainly one of the most useful/flexible printers I've used.
Summary: Bought offline In a local store promotion for £40. I purchased this as my old printer lacked a photocopier and I read some positive reviews about the MX410 online. It Looks good/sturdy though quite large & found It was easy to set up with comprehensive features and has good quality print/copy (not tried scan or fax yet) though I found this printer sounds noisier and prints a little slower than my older Canon printer. All In one printer excellence at a good price.
