Summary: Have only used the printer a couple of times so far, prints very well, quite quiet. Almost silent scanning. Haven't used it enough to determine how long the ink lasts, but so far definitely recommended.
Summary: Seems fine when printing black and white text but no good for photos on glossy paper. Gets halfway though and stops. Message comes up saying printing failed and need to cancel print. After wasting 15 sheets of expensive glossy paper it is going back.
Summary: This is good because it takes a good supply of paper with no bother. Strangely it is rather noisy and goes through all sorts of unnerving rattles and crashes before producing the goods. But it seems reliable.
Summary: This printer is great, it does exactly what I want it to do. The only problem I had was when unpacking the box, it didn't come with a UK 3 pin plug, it came with a 2 pin european plug. I contacted the seller, and they sent me UK 3 pin plug.

Summary: According to warranty reports Cannon and Brother are the most reliable printer companies HP used to be good but they have fallen well behind trying to please the budget market. Also this is £40 I was willing to pay a bit more for a canon over HP but its cheaper!!!!!!!
Summary: i just wonder why there is not usb cable inside, i wrote an email to Canon, they told me i can buy it everywhere, so they don't provide it anymore. then i took a bus cost me 2.6 Euro to the city center then ,spent 8.99 euro for a usb cable , then another 2.6 euro to came back. SO total it cost me 14.19 euro just for a "easy to buy everywhere" cable. How much is the printer, 40 pounds... WTF Canon....
