Summary: the ink cartridge say they are low on ink and need replacement after only half life. they are still half full when says time to replace
Cons: they put a chip in the ink cartridges. so you cannot have the cartridges refilled ,you must use canon replacements.I did not know greed was spelled CANON .the replacements are fairly expensive also, avoid this if u don't wanna pay $50 every month.
Summary: haven't tried the fax yet, but if it works anything like the Picsma780, then the fax is good enough for office work.

Pros: Usual speedy Newegg delivery, extremely inexpensive purchase price. I like the ink cartridge housing and the fact that colors are separate from black. The fax works, and the copy quality is adequate although not great, and I wouldn't use it for photos.
Cons: The 330 series is noisy - each time a job goes to print, there's a loud series of clanks to start. The print quality is mediocre at best for print and unsatisfactory for graphics. There is no universal plug, so all files have to be transferred to a USB drive in order to use them.
Summary: If you're using this with Windows 7 or MacOS X 10.6 or later, DO NOT use the installer CD- allow the OS to download and install the drivers instead. This printer is/will be superseded by the MX340. The scanner does not have a TWAIN driver- you can only dump scans straight to a file on your computer.
Pros: Reasonably priced Relatively small footprint
Cons: Print and scan quality is poor. Outdated drivers on CD. Sucks ink. Documentation is good enough for getting started, but learning anything beyond learning how to turn it on requires an installer- apparently, they haven't heard of the newfangled PDF thingies.
